I had this commentary all written out in my head, but then I made the mistake of scrolling down in the play-by-play and finding out that this was the Lofton game. Fuck the Lofton game. Now instead of going to bed comfortable and relaxed, I can look forward to a night of sitting on the floor rocking back and forth and praying that tomorrow puts something more pleasant in my brain, like thoughts of Eliza Dushku, or a hemorrhage.

Good job being ignorant
The LDS church hasn't practiced polygamy in over 100 years. But way to keep up with an ignorant stereotype! Its nice to see even smart people can be ignorant!bluemax - January 9, 2008
it was a joke.
lighten up or this place will kill you.Matthew - January 9, 2008
I know it was a joke
making an ignorant joke doesn't make you any less ignorant though.bluemax - January 10, 2008
yes, yes it does.
Because it being a joke means that I do not actually think that all mormons engage in polygamy. That would be ignorant.Matthew - January 10, 2008
White people sure do like country music

And Paul Anka.

And having black friends.
So they can make racist jokes and justify it by pointing out said friend.CapSea - January 10, 2008
I was about to make a joke here
But it's too inappropriate, even for meGraham MacAree - January 10, 2008
Ugh
"It's okay, I have a {value:minorityfromracistjoke} friend" is one sentence that, when used, immediately causes me to lose all respect for the person that said it.CapSea - January 10, 2008
How about 'It's ok, I have a {minority} mother'?
Graham MacAree - January 10, 2008
...umm....
CapSea - January 10, 2008
Wait. What?
CapSea - January 9, 2008
Heh
She was raised a Mormon, the faith of her mother (though she is not actively practicing).Evidently not.

CapSea - January 9, 2008
Jeff, is Eliza Dushku your number one?
This was probably a diary that I missed.I am laughing at how many of these responses are related to eliza dushku. Slap a definition on her and throw her in to the LL Wiki.
