I've only done a Recap In Pictures once or twice, because putting one together requires an awful lot of work. But a game like this deserves it. So away we go.

Awesome
Graham MacAree - April 12, 2008
Wow.
I just got back from drinking with pdb. I'm really glad you did this in pictures.
CapSea - April 12, 2008
This was the most eventful game of the season
I'm so glad I went to see it in person hahaha.
I'm surprised to say this, but the M's now have a good chance to sweep as long as Silva keeps the ball low.
schwagnah - April 12, 2008
Fairlyism!
Susheel Ramasahayam - April 12, 2008
I'm going today and tomorrow.
I had a chance to go to yesterday's game instead of today's, but at the time the rotation was slotted for Beluga, so I bought tickets for today anticipating Bedard.
And tomorrow was supposed to be Felix Day. But now it'll be Bedard, so at least I get to see one of the aces. But fuck, Silva? That's not gonna be so fun...

Jeff, Your Recaps Destroy Rev Halofan's
I mean, this is all he wrote:
When a hack like Raul Ibonerz hits a funk blast off ya, the next at bat you crack his helmet of at least putz his ribcage.
One sentence with poor grammar and childish name-calling that's painfully unfunny . . . bravo.
JoeyJoJoJuniorShabadoo - April 12, 2008
Wow...
Just...wow...
CapSea - April 12, 2008
Tits.
Matthew - April 12, 2008
Rev is so meekrob.
brayden04 - April 12, 2008
That about sums it up!
ThundaPC - April 12, 2008
Perfect summary
A lot of event and emotion tied up in connecting those images.
Nice one, Jeff
MarkE - April 12, 2008
Splitter? Bwha?
Awesome recap. What a fantastic day of baseball.
Goose - April 12, 2008
Great Game
If only we had a first baseman who could field.
phil333 - April 12, 2008
But he's so tall...
...surely he'll make a good first baseman?
GhettoBear04 - April 12, 2008
How Does Red Get that Beltre Head Into the Stadium?
JoeyJoJoJuniorShabadoo - April 12, 2008
I assume he carries it
ningwers - April 12, 2008
I wonder how he stores it at home
For some reason I imagine it attached to the ceiling above his bed, and I don't even see anything wrong with that
tootthekazoo - April 12, 2008
The Felix point was, by far, the coolest moment of the night
A close second was the final out. That's how awesome that was.
cwel87 - April 12, 2008
When was that?
I was there and didn't see it.
mtn335 - April 12, 2008
Felix's point?
He was pointing at Brad after Brad's 2-RBI single. The photo of it is just below the "BRADTASTIC" photo in the recap
ningwers - April 12, 2008
I liked his point at Beltre after the double play.
CapSea - April 12, 2008
What was Felix pointing at!?!?
I think if you look at a map..He's telling Ben that Mt. Rainier is the easy mountain to point at, but I'm talented enough to run up some stairs and with all my power and passion (and mustache growing abilities) and say Mt. Baker BITCHES
kentroyals5 - April 12, 2008
Great recap
Almost makes up for having to listen to Physioc and Hudler last night wax rhapsodic about the good old days with Erstad, Eckstein, et al.
chinn - April 12, 2008
Fantastic recap.
Almost made up for not getting to see any of this game due to mlb.tv failure.
JuliaHope - April 12, 2008
Heh.. Baker quoted HH in his blog
seattlesundevil - April 12, 2008
awesome
MFAN - April 12, 2008
Detroit still struggling
being no-hit by Gavin Floyd of the white sox thru 6innings... trailing 1-0
MfaninAlaska - April 12, 2008
now thru 7ip
MfaninAlaska - April 12, 2008
It's now on the bottom line on ESPN...
A hit is coming any minute now..
seattlesundevil - April 12, 2008
Broken up in the 8th.
The Typical Idiot Fan - April 12, 2008
Johnny Mac
So I was thinking as Mac went out to argue that pick-off attempt on Figgins....doesn't he lose all credibility when he argues about seeing Chone being out when he stands there in all his Mr. Magoo-Squinty glory?
kentroyals5 - April 12, 2008
My favorite part of that was seeing McLaren jog
Jeff Sullivan - April 12, 2008
I still loved him in the sling
he looked like the leader of a cripple-society, not a baseball team. I know the umps felt bad for him..he couldn't even point effectively! poor guy
kentroyals5 - April 12, 2008
I've decided that it's 100% impossible for an old man to command respect in baseball pants
Jeff Sullivan - April 12, 2008
This needed to be mentioned...
during BP, a few pitchers were running in the outfield for the Angels. A lefty, maybe Kotchman or Willits, hit a line drive to right field and we started shouting at them to watch out (it was on a rope..and only natural to yell). I think it was Moseley who stopped...looked up at us and proceeded to get drilled in the ankle..it was thoroughly enjoyable
kentroyals5 - April 12, 2008
Hey, you tried so they can't blame you.
Great story. Too bad it wasn't K-Rod getting his ankles knocked around some more.
Wilder. - April 12, 2008
Amazing game
Edgar for Pres - April 12, 2008
Dear God
Look at the lineup the Giants put out today. Holy crap
kentroyals5 - April 12, 2008
My life is over.
MLB.tv no longer do condensed games and it really sucks. I don't have time to watch a repeat of every game. Those condensed games were perfect. I want to pillage a small town in Mongolia, such is my rage.
EnglishMariner - April 12, 2008
agreed. The condensed games were awesome
I don't have the patient to watch the whole game. They HAVE to bring those back!
MFAN - April 12, 2008
Also, FOX has really sucky commentary.
I am watching THE RIVALRY!!!!11 and it's like listening to a cross between Hawk/Detroit muppets/Rex/Rev. It's awful.
EnglishMariner - April 12, 2008
About the only way I'd watch that game is if Muppets were actually commentating
