It bears repeating

I hate this gif more than I've ever hated a gif before

WTF is he wearing?
Looks like little league world series unis. Glad I didn’t have video. Also find it funny that when I checked the score from work when it was 7-0 I thought to myself “atleast he isn’t getting a save tonight.” Fuck me.

It's the AMERICA FUCK YEAH hat that MLB introduced for July 4.

Yeah, that is an ugly uniform.

He does the same cheer for every save.
Sure, he just tied a ‘major league record’ but this could have been number 12 or 22 from watching the clip. Hurry up and sign him to 5/80 and then have his arm herky jerked off into the stands.

So what did you guys think?
I thought Morrow’s start seemed decent enough. I wasn’t counting or anything, but it seemed like he got some swinging strikes, threw a fair amount of off speed stuff, and that his fastball was popping. It also seemed like his command was pretty ungood and I can only remember him getting one groundball, but I still say that’s not too bad for a kid at this point in his career. Do you think throwing so many pitches last time could’ve affected him this time or do you think he just wasn’t feeling it tonight?

He wasn't great, but if he had pitched this well on Friday I would have been happy.
Aaron Campeau - September 11, 2008
From what I saw, he couldn't control his curveball tonight.
However, when he did snap the curveball, it was devastating.
The Angels were jackasses in running up Morrow’s pitch count, too. But that can be contributed mostly to Morrow’s control issues. For his second start, it was a good stepping stone. And it’s not like he went up against a Triple-A lineup either; something you’d expect the day after a team clinches their division title.

He wasn't controlling his curveball in his last start either
You could tell it was ending up nowhere near where he wanted it, but the Yankees were pretty much sitting fastball for every AB and the amount of break/lack of speed completely fooled them, even though it was wayyy out of the strike zone most of the time.

I actually got to watch a couple innings tonight.
Visually it looked like some hits off some good pitches. A little inside out on a fastball in on the hands kind of stuff. Get out of my head Rick Rizzs!!

One of those saves was the Torii Hunter game
Gomez - September 11, 2008
The save is an awesome stat.
Out of his ZOMG NEW RECORD 56 saves, K-rod had:
Seven saves with less than 1 IP.
A whole whopping zero with more than 1 IP.
Twenty 1-2-3 innings thrown (remember, out of ZOMG 56 SAVES).
K-ROD FOR MVP

Oh, and that changeup he struck out Matsui on in his last save
was probably the worst pitch I have ever seen in professional baseball.

Sorry about last night. :(
EnglishMariner - September 12, 2008
Why are you apologizing?
That was awesome. We’ve been devoid of GTE since April.

I hate that Kenji has the biggest contribution to this game.
Kirsten Schlewitz - September 12, 2008
I hate that the biggest contribution was 5.6%.
A positive 5.6%, what did the rest of the team do? Well, besides suck. Another typical M’s loss. Totally dominate for most of the game, then they put up a few runs to make the box score look ‘okay’. I mean Weaver had a good slider but his fast ball was 89. Nothing about the way he threw looked unbeatable. I am starting to get nervous that we will lose 100 games. This team has ‘give up’ all over them.
