Last night I thought "thank God that hit was to right field."
That way it would be considered legitimate, instead of say, a Yuni failure leading to 10 million words of ‘Yuni suck’. Now I’ve been wrong twice in my life.
Man, I may even end up at WSU, and that annoys me. That's just not right, officials need to realize that people don't come to games to see them decide the fucking outcome.
seriously. One of the worst. Calls. Of. All. Time.
At least in the Oregon-OU game, they made a mistake with something that happened on the field – it’s stupid, but it happens. This was some dumb fucking shit referee being too willing to single handedly decide the game
You are just angry because my Cougars are going kick your ass next week.
Muahahahahahaha
But if you do end up winning next week, you will be happy to beat a higher ranked team. Otherwise, the win won’t look as good. And if you end up losing, it won’t end up looking as bad.
Be happy BYU won, even though it was a sucker win… kind of (they still had to block to PAT).
My problem with the excessive celebration penalty (besides the fact it wasn’t in this case) is it impacts a current game and could cost a win. Make it something after the game it you want— suspend a player for a game or whatever, but don’t hand over a victory.
Oh my god I've never seen such a bad call in my life
And never has Husky stadium been so full of boos. I wanted to punch random BYU fans in the face. Just a blatantly incorrect, heartless, gutless, brainless, stupid retarded call.
I can't possibly be happier then I am right now
For that, Brandon Morrow, I owe you a lot
Corco - September 6, 2008
I know...it's actually good to be a Mariner fan!!
Smith18 - September 6, 2008
And Baker suggests Ichiro has lost a step on not getting to that ball.
I swear..a baby could fall from the 300 level at Safeco and somehow Baker would get Ichiro’s name in the story.
kentroyals5 - September 6, 2008
That ball was not going to get caught by anyone ever.
Graham MacAree - September 6, 2008
Geoff needs to scapegoat someone.
BrianL - September 6, 2008
Ichiro needs to work on those mind powers
Edgar for Pres - September 6, 2008
I actually think he should have thrown his glove.
3 base error? Yes please!
Graham MacAree - September 6, 2008
As we learned from CC Sabathia this week, error != hit
still would have been a no hitter!

dpseadv - September 6, 2008
This is an excellent suggestion
JI - September 6, 2008
Ichiro shouldn't have moved and just watch it fly over it his head
Robert - September 6, 2008
Ichiro should've sprouted wings and flown.
Kirsten Schlewitz - September 6, 2008
Ichiro should just shank Baker.
Less overall effort required.
BrianL - September 6, 2008
Baker bashing Ichiro for something he had no control over?
OlSalty - September 6, 2008
I still don't fully grasp why Baker seems to despise Ichiro.
Actually, I don’t fully grasp why Baker seems to despise anyone on this team who possesses talent.
BrianL - September 6, 2008
Unrelated note: Umpires are bad at calling balls and strikes; cost TB game.
BrettJMiller - September 6, 2008
It's like super bowl XL all over again
Robert - September 6, 2008
I have no idea what you're talking about.
BrianL - September 6, 2008
They didn't play Super Bowl XL, it was cancelled remember?
BrettJMiller - September 6, 2008
Or the Huskies this afternoon.
batura - September 6, 2008
The ref cost the Cougars the game today.
JI - September 6, 2008
By letting them play?
Sec 108 - September 7, 2008
Pretty much.
JI - September 7, 2008
This picture is fantastic
seattlebruin - September 6, 2008
Glad you've come around to the awesome mindset rather than curling up in a ball on the floor of Safeco.
Kirsten Schlewitz - September 6, 2008
At least I didn't cry!
Graham MacAree - September 6, 2008
My hat still has stomp marks on it,
Robert - September 6, 2008
Better than bite marks.
Kirsten Schlewitz - September 6, 2008
You make it sound as though I did.
Kirsten Schlewitz - September 6, 2008
Holy crap the Huskies are looking bad.
BrettJMiller - September 6, 2008
I may need a taker for today's ticket to see RRS if my friend bails on me. It's about 50/50 right now...
Anyone interested?
BrettJMiller - September 6, 2008
Holy crap UW got fucked over so bad.
Pac-10 Referees are absolutely terrible.
BrettJMiller - September 6, 2008
FUCK YOU YOU MOTHERFUCKING SHIT FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCKFUSADFJLADSKL
seattlebruin - September 6, 2008
AND I DON'T EVEN GO TO UW

I'm a Coug and I think that was awful!
They still gotta make that extra point, but that penalty call was rediculous and not what the rule was meant to prevent.

I was impartial (im Gators fan), but watched it...
Wow what a fuck job.
Seattle never gets that many penalties, but when they do…its always a major one. Not that im hinting anything…
Slica - September 6, 2008
Pac-10 refs have always been awful.
BrianL - September 6, 2008
This is a new low
this had nothing to do with what happened on the field and it decided a game
seattlebruin - September 6, 2008
I was watching
This is one fucked up call that’s going to be talked about for years.
BrianL - September 6, 2008
Right.

was shocking and appalling.

Nick S - September 6, 2008
Why did you want to punch random BYU fans in the face?
BYU had nothing to do with the bad Pac-10 officiating call.
Wilder. - September 6, 2008
Irrational anger isn't rational
Nick S - September 6, 2008
Yeah except for fuck the Huskies.
JI - September 6, 2008
Oh and Graham.
That is now my favorite and best use of the surprise face ever, salute!
