Ubaldo Jimenez's series ERA is 9.00. Cliff Lee's series ERA is 1.00. Based on a sample size of that game, the Rockies are really gonna need to rally against Philly's bullpen.

I have to root for the Rockies here because the name Ubaldo always makes me laugh for some reason
not that either of those two is necessarily a good indicator of his talent, but he didn’t seem too horrible – but he’s been a lot better since he left.
I have tried to be an enjoyer of pitching duels, but I just can’t get into it very much. When it’s two teams I don’t care about much, it’s even worse. This is killin’ me.
It is pretty funny. The dog seems to know when you are finished with your beer and he will bark at your to let him lick the bottle. I think it may have a problem.
According to gameday, Street threw all fastballs to Howard
Now, I know you’ve gotta keep the hitter guessing, so you’ve got to do that sometimes, but really? Is Ryan Howard the guy you want to throw nothing but fastballs to?
With the Rockies choke job in tonight’s game 4, it is the first year since 2000 that neither wild card won their division series and only the second time since the wild card was added.
ahh -- a post-surgery (pre-infection) note from Karen M
“We both wonder how incredible it is that this is his first surgery of his very long career.
The surgery went very well – performed by one of the leading specialists in the country, out of Philadelphia. In fact, he’s avoiding pain killers because he doesn’t have any pain! He is thrilled that the doctor saw no reason why he wouldn’t be ready for spring training.
As his wife, it has been my job to keep “Superman” down! That has been more difficult than taking care of our 8 kids! "
What, you have a problem with jumping around in a group of guys and rubbing up against each other while spraying white foamy liquid all over each other?

I thought
Dane Cook = Baseball? I know he’s not music, but still – has TBS been lying to me all this time?
Is this sort of like Hank Williams Jr = football?
section331 - October 12, 2009
This year
George Lopez = baseball.
Craig Powers - October 12, 2009
That's not improving the situation.
I think maybe I’ve been able to tune that out a lot easier than Dane Cook. Lopez isn’t as annoying.

Man, there is just too much to keep track of…

section331 - October 12, 2009
Lidge?
Sundevil78 - October 12, 2009
Uh, what happened?
I dozed off with 2 outs and Philly down 4-2. Wake up and the Phillies up 5-4. My goodness.
Wilder. - October 12, 2009
According to gameday, Street threw all fastballs to Howard
Now, I know you’ve gotta keep the hitter guessing, so you’ve got to do that sometimes, but really? Is Ryan Howard the guy you want to throw nothing but fastballs to?
ubelmann - October 12, 2009
Carlos Gonzalez is becoming a household name?
msb - October 12, 2009
In Mexico maybe?
Pretty common name.
Wilder. - October 12, 2009
Huh. I did not know that CarGon has been quite good for Colorado.
This distresses me.
Goose - October 12, 2009
But CarGon can take you away!
section331 - October 12, 2009
[snerk]
msb - October 12, 2009
And a little Ric Flair to left?
Goose - October 12, 2009
The best part about this is that Philly isn't using Lidge.
Goose - October 12, 2009
Not so fast!
Craig Powers - October 12, 2009
Well thats what I get for opening my mouth.
Brad Lidge in with the game on the line?
OH NOES!
Goose - October 12, 2009

TheOptimist - October 12, 2009

Wilder. - October 12, 2009
This should be fun.
drblacknwhite - October 12, 2009
I'm rooting for the Rockies, but Brad Lidge blowing yet another game would be hilarious.
Goose - October 12, 2009

Goose - October 12, 2009
Twos wild
Wilder. - October 12, 2009
YES!
Goose - October 12, 2009
Crap.
drblacknwhite - October 12, 2009
MLB History tonight
With the Rockies choke job in tonight’s game 4, it is the first year since 2000 that neither wild card won their division series and only the second time since the wild card was added.
skywaker9 - October 12, 2009
ROCKTOBER?
Craig Powers - October 12, 2009
Bugger
abender20 - October 12, 2009
Looks like I'm a Phillies fan from here on out.

Meh
OlSalty - October 12, 2009
Okay then.
royalcurve - October 12, 2009
That was interesting
ThundaPC - October 12, 2009
That would be even worse as the losing fans ... to come so close to winning, and have it torn away again.
msb - October 12, 2009
I do feel badly for them
But am happy for Raul, even with that whole awesome left fielding thing…
section331 - October 12, 2009
Hope Jamie is out of the hospital, and watching this from home.
msb - October 12, 2009
Yeah, hope Moyer is better.
mark sobba - October 12, 2009
I see that he supposedly got out saturday

msb - October 12, 2009
ahh -- a post-surgery (pre-infection) note from Karen M
“We both wonder how incredible it is that this is his first surgery of his very long career.
The surgery went very well – performed by one of the leading specialists in the country, out of Philadelphia. In fact, he’s avoiding pain killers because he doesn’t have any pain! He is thrilled that the doctor saw no reason why he wouldn’t be ready for spring training.
As his wife, it has been my job to keep “Superman” down! That has been more difficult than taking care of our 8 kids! "
msb - October 12, 2009
FUCK HUSTON STREET!!
There is now officially NO ONE left to root for in the playoffs!
basebliman - October 12, 2009
Yup.
mark sobba - October 12, 2009
Huh
You know, champagne celebrations in the clubhouse are just a teensy bit…gay…ish…
section331 - October 12, 2009
Howsabout with beer?
msb - October 12, 2009
Even so
They still have to shake it in a way that makes me a little uncomfortable to watch. It’s like that Wii sketch with Alec Baldwin.
section331 - October 12, 2009
What, you have a problem with jumping around in a group of guys and rubbing up against each other while spraying white foamy liquid all over each other?
Goose - October 12, 2009
Wait
Is this a trick question?
section331 - October 12, 2009
Sounds like a real sausage fest!
Kermit. - October 12, 2009
Just like an LL football game!
section331 - October 12, 2009
