(part of) the screen that MLB.tv used to put on when it went to commercials.
It’s just a shot of a desk with a pencil sharpener, a bobblehead and some other shit, but if you looked closely, you could see it wasn’t a photo, but a video for some reason.
It shouldn't be ABP that's blocking them because MLB.tv is merely a video stream.
Everyone should be seeing the same thing. It could be that your IP (and mine) isn’t being detected for the Ad-stream. Not sure why but that’s more likely.
Ahhhh
Glorious
Jeff Sullivan - October 2, 2009
That's sexy.
Teej - October 2, 2009
No delay!
Jeff Sullivan - October 2, 2009
Is it Flash-based?
Teej - October 2, 2009
Indeed
Jeff Sullivan - October 2, 2009
I have to watch through ESPN360 so mine doesn't look like that :(
Eyeball Kid - October 2, 2009
Ooh, I just got ESPN360 yesterday!
I haven’t used it for anything yet, but that’s neat I guess.
Teej - October 2, 2009
I don't think it'll work for you for this
In the US I think 360 doesn’t cover the major American/Canadian/Premiership type sports, at least it didn’t used to.
pdb - October 2, 2009
My buddy has it and we watched college football with it last weekend,
but we were blacked out from Pac10 games.
JMKaustin - October 2, 2009
That makes sense.
Teej - October 2, 2009
The commercials on ESPN360 will have you caressing a bottle of Drano within hours.
abender20 - October 2, 2009
Not living in America means no adverts on ESPN360 or MLB.TV for me!
Eyeball Kid - October 2, 2009
I miss the old days when MLB.tv did that too.
JMKaustin - October 2, 2009
I miss the creepy "stills" that weren't actually stills.
Teej - October 2, 2009
Yay
Jeff Sullivan - October 2, 2009
This still gives me nightmares.
MFAN - October 2, 2009
The hell am I looking at?

Check the reflection in the sharpener. It's like some horror movie.
abender20 - October 2, 2009
Click click click click click click
click click click click click click click click click click click click
abender20 - October 2, 2009
Hey ump!
JMKaustin - October 2, 2009
It's not hard to be better than mlb.tv
chinn - October 2, 2009
Yeah, it really sucks that every single game is available live and archived with real time stats
what the hell is MLB thinking putting out such a pile of garbage?
pdb - October 2, 2009
It's really buggy.
The product is good, the software hasn’t been reliable, and the commercials suck balls.
JMKaustin - October 2, 2009
It's not too much to ask that it work, considering that it's not cheap and nearly impossible to cancel.
Aaron Campeau - October 2, 2009
I guess I'm just lucky because I've really never had a problem with it
pdb - October 2, 2009
I have no problems with it either, other than the fact that you have to put up with a long delay if you want the best picture.
Teej - October 2, 2009
The HD delay is pretty damn stupid though.
Goose - October 2, 2009
Indeed. It's brutally long.
Teej - October 2, 2009
And the tech support is useless too.
JMKaustin - October 2, 2009
It's true, they don't employ leggy blondes.
Phil Hatzenbuehler - October 2, 2009
Somebody's been watching their Flight Of The Conchords this week
pdb - October 2, 2009
I never get mlb.tv commercials.
I don’t understand. Does adblock work on those?
Eyebrows - October 2, 2009 via mobile
what
Jeff Sullivan - October 2, 2009
I haven't seen an ad since the beginning of the season.
Eyebrows - October 2, 2009
I thought they just stopped showing ads.
All I’ve seen since May is:

Eyebrows - October 2, 2009
what
Jeff Sullivan - October 2, 2009
I"VE BEEN TALKING ABOUT THIS FOREVER
Poochie - October 2, 2009
This is what I get too
I just assumed it was an outside-of-the-US thing.
Eyeball Kid - October 2, 2009
You know I might as well have just flushed the money I paid for mlb.tv down the toilet because I never use it
but on the rare occasions that I do use it, I get the same thing.
Aaron Campeau - October 2, 2009
You're missing out on all the clicks
Dewey N - October 3, 2009
Yeah, I've never understood the CLICK jokes
Because I just get that little holding screen.
Robert Lintott - October 3, 2009

sirbrianwilson - October 2, 2009
ahahahaha
Robert - October 2, 2009
I don't think so
I have it installed and I was still getting them. On two different computers too.
bluemax - October 2, 2009
I don't get them either.
I’m using FF3 with ABP.
sirbrianwilson - October 2, 2009
I for one, have also not seen commercials on mlb.tv.
I just assumed it was a Mariners feed thing.
Goose - October 3, 2009
I'm wondering if it is a market/cable provider thing?
I would say perhaps it is state regulation but Poochie gets the commercials so I dunno.
Aaron Campeau - October 3, 2009
Like anyone will advertise during a hockey game.
Poochie - October 2, 2009
