Spring Training games begin tomorrow at 12:05pm Pacific and some of them (including tomorrow's) are covered on TV and/or radio. Check the link for which ones. Furthermore, it also contains all the information on Regular Season as well (99.5% just FSN and ESPN 710).
For all of those outside Seattle proper, but still within the Mariners regional area, here is a list of radio affiliates covering the games. Might be worth bookmarking.

Internet broadcast?
Does anyone know if games will be available online? I thought KIRO was going to run the broadcasts but I’m not sure.

HD games?
Hey, does anyone know if we’ll be able to see HD M’s games on Comcast here in Seattle this year? Last year they broadcast the HD games on the “Mojo” channel, because they don’t actually have FSN HD, but they’ve since eliminated the Mojo channel… I tried contacting Comcast to ask them this, but they had absolutely no idea what I was talking about…

At least in Portland
FSN’s HD Mariner broadcasting has moved to a different channel since the demise of Mojo. I don’t remember what the channel is, but they’re definitely still in HD – once the season comes closer call Comcast again and they’ll know what’s what.

FSN HD
is channel 627 on Comcast in Seattle.

Changing of the guard...
What’s weird is that over the past 3 years of living in Seattle, I got so used to listening to KOMO 1000 for games, that eventually I would listen to it during the off season just for the random news/weather/traffic/sports/financial. It’s just background noise most of the time, unless I hear something interesting. Now that they have no Ms coverage, meh.

Well Kiro covered the M's before I believe...
It’s kinda awkward tuning to 1000 during the offseason then realizing they don’t cover the M’s and there’s no baseball.

Woo!
And also WOOO!
felix – according to FSN online, 627 should still be the HD channel for them. I don’t know when the last time that was updated though. We had to get rid of our cable, so, we only have channel 30, which is a bit of a bummer.

no radio coverage in Portland?
that’s unbelievable, inconvenient, and, quite frankly, an embarassment.
David Piper - February 24, 2009
Fuck that.
Just because the M’s sucked last year doesn’t mean they shouldn’t get their coverage.
robrun2 - February 24, 2009
That pissed me off, too.
So I emailed the M’s and got this response back on 2/18:
“Thank you for contacting the Seattle Mariners! Our radio broadcast partner, KIRO, is in the process of signing a Portland affiliate. They are hopeful that they will have one place in the next few weeks.”

Toned down ST coverage
Haven’t they, in the past, broadcast all the spring training games on the radio?
Hope Dave and the gang aren’t rusty going into April with their training cut back.
mmmariner - February 24, 2009
You know what they say
Spring training is too long, anyway …
msb - February 24, 2009
KIRO has a few baseball things going before the games start
Drayer is on everyday at 7:45, and on saturdays they have the 1-3 Hot Stove show.

Anybody know any details about MT coverage?
I know there are a few folks from MT on here…Has anyone heard what the TV schedule will be in MT? Last year the primary cable provider, Bresnan, couldn’t reach an agreement with FSN. This limited them to less than half the games being televised. This was very annoying, in that the games they played were random (did not play the opening day game), but things picked up as the season wore on.
I know FSN blamed the cable company and the cable company blamed FSN, but in the end it just left everyone in MT pissed. Fortunately, the games were all carried on radio on western markets in Missoula, but Bozeman and further east were left out.

So if I'm reading this correctly, they won't be on the FM band after March?
If so, that sucks. That was the main reason I was excited when KIRO added FM – it meant I could listen to games on my mp3 player.
ralphie81 - February 25, 2009
Ahhh
I didn’t know that AM was switching to all-sports on April 1 (hence the ESPN re-branding) and FM was retaining the news/talk format. Laaaaame.
