It's been four days, which means numbers numbers numbers!
- Of the 113 home runs hit so far this season, Russ Branyan's was the 13th-farthest, at 437 feet.
- Of the 113 home runs hit so far this season, Ken Griffey Jr.'s was the 10th-shortest, at 356 feet.
- Home runs distance is up six feet from where it was a year ago. I don't know what this means.
Does it mean the average distance of HR is up by 6 feet perhaps?

"# Home runs distance is up six feet from where it was a year ago. I don't know what this means."
My first reaction is that weather conditions may have been more conducive for HR hitting than this time last year. I’d imagine April/October would see the biggest gulf in HR distances than any other time of the year.

Or hit could be a hilariously small sample size.

Griffey's HR was also the most important and no hit tracker could ever tell you that.
