It was only a matter of time until someone insulted Silva by calling him a girl.

It's a good thing Silva lost all that weight this winter....
You can really see a difference in his performance…..oh wait….

So you're saying that it had nothing to do with him being fat
so all the complaints about him being fat were actually stupid?
johnbai - April 19, 2009
I think the complaints about him being fat were justified
once he started complaining about his back towards the end of the season.
Being fat myself, a little extra weight does affect things like that more than most skinnies realize.

This is the start of that inevitable 10 game losing streak isn't it?

AAARRRRGGGGHHHH
Staving off the last shred of my pessimism… something just broke in my brain.

No! Don't think that way.
Griffey provides us magical protection from extended losing streaks.

Jarrod Washburn is a stopper!
In all honesty, I feel much better seeing Jarrod Washburn out there than Silva.
Any time you feel much better seeing Jarrod Washburn out there than someone else, that someone else is pretty terrible at what he does.

With our OF defence, I feel fine with Washburn going out there.

The last time we lost 2 games in a row we won 6 in a row.
C’mon M’s!

I like this optimism
It’s just too bad that everything we have ever known about Seattle sports is that it gets insanely difficult to stay optimistic after seeing games like the last 2.
