That's not his hand.
Robert - April 23, 2009
Second most disturbing pic I've seen today.
JI - April 23, 2009
He's giving a boost
Jeff Sullivan - April 23, 2009
I live for your post-game chopz
JBell523 - April 23, 2009
Kinda looks like Felix's head on a lady's body
JI - April 23, 2009
That was a dude with long hair
Jeff Sullivan - April 23, 2009
He has sexy, toned arms.
Teej - April 23, 2009
It's a small pic and ladies can go to the gym
JI - April 23, 2009
I'm agreeing with you that he looks a little ladyish.
Teej - April 23, 2009
I'm so confused
JI - April 23, 2009
It looks like a lady who works out a little bit.
Teej - April 23, 2009
lol felix hernandez has girl parts
Dewey N - April 23, 2009
Featuring Ichiro and the Amazing Minuses.
What a lineup. How the hell did that happen?
Teej - April 23, 2009
When you saw the pre-game lineup you knew it was going to happen.
esoteric - April 23, 2009
Tigers lead Angels, 1-0
Carlos Guillen’s GIDP killed what might’ve been a soul-crushing 1st inning rally.
esoteric - April 23, 2009
The Angels pitcher has no fucking clue where the ball is going
seattlebruin - April 23, 2009
What do you expect from a 30-year-old career minor leaguer?
esoteric - April 23, 2009
So sad we don't get to face this guy
Bearskin Rugburn - April 23, 2009
Goddamn
You guys pay more attention to the Angels than I do.
Eyebrows - April 23, 2009
Yeah thing is
you don’t really much like the Angels.
Bearskin Rugburn - April 23, 2009
It's a defense mechanism
Every time I try to care, someone else goes on the DL.
Eyebrows - April 23, 2009
I plan on coming out of the coma around June
shouting, “Alright, Opening Day, let’s go!”
Eyebrows - April 23, 2009
Just do it the day of Lackey's first start
that would seem most appropriate
seattlebruin - April 23, 2009
Like I said, June.
Eyebrows - April 23, 2009
Yeah... I hate that team and all they represent
but holy christ are they ever repaying for their run of good fortune last year.
When you sleep with Lady Luck, you gotta be prepared for the possibility that you wake up in a bathtub full of ice water, a crudely stitched incision in your back and the words ‘We took your balls, but it wasn’t enough so then we cut your back open’ scrawled in sparkly lip gloss on the wall.
Bearskin Rugburn - April 23, 2009
See: The 2008 Seattle Mariners.
Coach Owens - April 23, 2009
Just give in already
Kirsten Schlewitz - April 23, 2009
When are you going to stop pretending you're an Angels and not a Mariners fan?
esoteric - April 23, 2009
OH IT'S ALL SO CONFUSING!
All these hormones and secret thoughts!
Eyebrows - April 23, 2009
In my defense I get like every game on TV and my roommate watches most of them
seattlebruin - April 23, 2009
Is it a rally if it's in the first?
Bearskin Rugburn - April 23, 2009
Adrian forgot that he is in a contract year
Who needs to hit?
xavier42 - April 23, 2009
Has he gone the other way at all this year? He seems to be trying to yank everything.
And he’s swinging at some absolutely terrible pitches.
Rudy4three - April 23, 2009
So Felix was good?
Mariner John - April 23, 2009
Naaaah.
Woodinville_12thMan - April 23, 2009
Did that ump put him through the wringer or what? Terrible strike zone.
Kermit. - April 23, 2009
Felix would've gone 8 IP, maybe 9 IP, if not for that asshole.
Wilder. - April 23, 2009
Seriously
It seemed anything more than halfway down the thigh was a ball, there were some plum centre strikes called as balls throughout innings 1-7.
MarkE - April 24, 2009
Well I asked because sometimes statistical Good Felix can be deceiving.
Mariner John - April 23, 2009
This was a Pretty Damn Good Felix.
Started heavy with the fastballs, of course, but he looked like he knew where they were going. Maybe he really didn’t, but he wasn’t as wild as he has been. And he got his ground balls when he needed them. Of the top of my head . . . three double-plays today?
Teej - April 23, 2009
He did an unbelievable job today. One of his three best performances, in my opinion.
I say that because the defense blew some really easy plays, and he kept his composure. The umpiring was some of the worst I’ve ever seen, and yet, he kept his composure.
A year ago, I don’t think Felix is able to handle the domino effect. Today, he stood strong and pitched a hell of a game. And he got so absurdly squeezed by that fucking tool-douche behind home. Maybe that was for the better though, to test Felix’s mettle. Because he finally passed the composure test, and he did so with flying colors.
cwel87 - April 24, 2009
This isn't directed at you John, because I know what you mean
But sometimes I fear we’re missing out on enjoying Felix as much as we should because we expect so much of him. And not unfairly, perhaps, but the Felix we saw today is a pitcher that should be cherished by any fanbase.
Aaron Campeau - April 24, 2009
Fuck that noise.
Felix don’t get no love from me until he shapes up. I’m not staying around in this abusive relationship. I found me a Canadian boy with charms and golden heart.
Matthew - April 24, 2009
They made him a reliever
JI - April 24, 2009
Ruutu doesn't have a golden heart.
Kirsten Schlewitz - April 24, 2009
He's Finnish.
God, women and sports I tell ya.
Matthew - April 24, 2009
He might have a Canadian passport.
Kirsten Schlewitz - April 24, 2009
Hi Matthew!
Love your work on this forum but looks like you stumbled upon the dreaded dead meme.

Cheer up cause I bet you will be churning out quality stuff before we can count to ten. Just remember originality matters!
Robert - April 24, 2009
I imagine this has been covered before
But I see that your win contribution charts and the ones at Fangraphs have different numbers. What’s the difference?
Ike Clanton - April 24, 2009
Opinion
Fangraphs lift the plays in-live from the official scorer’s feed through MLB.
LL WP charts are different if Jeff scores the play differently (e.g. on an error that wasn’t).
MarkE - April 24, 2009
Also
Iif I remember correctly, Fangraphs charges errors to the pitcher, not the fielder.
MarkE - April 24, 2009
I think Jeff stopped doing this a long time ago because it was too subjective.
Phil Hatzenbuehler - April 24, 2009
Credit for errors, assists, baserunning stuff and the like
Jeff Sullivan - April 24, 2009
