This is about the only time I will complain about Sweeney's usage. Give Wlad a start. Why not? He actually can hit home runs!

Wait what's wrong with Kenji's back?
Graham MacAree - May 1, 2009
Subject wasn't possessive you flaming tool of motor oil discharge.
Matthew - May 1, 2009
Why do you hate verbs?
Graham MacAree - May 1, 2009
Adverbs better
Matthew - May 1, 2009
Matthew cleverly
Graham MacAree - May 1, 2009
fuck
Robert - May 1, 2009
And why is Sweeney still batting 3rd?
Move up Branyan already.
Wilder. - May 1, 2009
LLLRRRRRR
That’s probably why.
Matthew - May 1, 2009
Ah yes, didn't see that.
But if that is the case, move Lopez into the 2-spot and drop Endy to No. 9.
And if Wak wants to keep Endy in the 2-spot, then just move Beltre and Branyan up a spot.
Bah! Frustrating to see Sweeney there right now.
Wilder. - May 1, 2009
Then you have LLRL going 9-3
Matthew - May 1, 2009
Third really isn't that important of a lineup spot.
Aaron Campeau - May 1, 2009
Did Cedeno die and they forgot to replace him on the roster?
It has been almost two weeks since he last played.
Sec 108 - May 1, 2009
This makes my purchase of a Cedeno jersey almost two weeks ago extremely ominous
Graham MacAree - May 1, 2009
Probably could have got a discount.
Wilder. - May 1, 2009
Yes it does.
Sec 108 - May 1, 2009
Bastard.
Kirsten Schlewitz - May 1, 2009
Still hamstrung I think.
The Typical Idiot Fan - May 1, 2009
I heard once there is a place you can stash injured players
For I don’t know, maybe a little over two weeks, so that they can take time off to get ready to play again. The neat part is during that time their spot on the roster can be filled so that you do not end up with no bench alternatives.
Sec 108 - May 1, 2009
Psssh, who would we call up?
Navarro? Woodward?
Coach Owens - May 1, 2009
Nothing wrong with Woodward as a bench player
Graham MacAree - May 1, 2009
Isn't he worse defensively than Cedeno?
Coach Owens - May 1, 2009
Not if Cedeno's legs aren't working
Graham MacAree - May 1, 2009
But isn't the whole point of having Cedeno on the team that he's
a slightly above-average fielder?
Coach Owens - May 1, 2009
No, it's to provide a servicable utility player
Woodward is a better utility player than Cedeno when Cedeno is out with an injury. This doesn’t seem like it’s very hard to grasp.
Graham MacAree - May 1, 2009
So let me get this straight
You’re saying that a player who can play is better than a player who can’t play?
…..madness
OlSalty - May 1, 2009
Speaking of Cedeno, why was he never put on the DL?
Was he being a tease about his hamstring getting better?
Decatur - May 1, 2009
I reckon
Based on Wakamatsu’s actions, Cedeno is well enough to play in emergency situations.
Odd that we really haven’t had any updates on this, though.
ThundaPC - May 1, 2009
I want Ronny
I want Ronny
I want Ronny
Kirsten Schlewitz - May 1, 2009
What's wrong with Kenji's back?
Robert - May 1, 2009
Tsk tsk
disappointed look
Matthew - May 1, 2009
Oh fuck off SBN.
If you convert asterisks to carets in the subject then leave my carets alone in the body.
Matthew - May 1, 2009
I never thought I'd be this happy to see Johjima in the lineup.
BrettJMiller - May 1, 2009
So is this the end for Burke?
Or does he end up back in Tacoma?
EnglishMariner - May 1, 2009
Nobody claimed him last time he was DFAd
so he might make it through.
Eyebrows - May 1, 2009
I like Burke
I will always like Burke.
royalcurve - May 1, 2009
Nice to see Kenji back, he was hitting fairly well before he got hurt
Hopefully he makes somewhat of an impact (please don’t kill my hopes people).
gregrabble - May 1, 2009
Kenji Johjima had a .500 OPS when he got hurt.
Matthew - May 1, 2009
Hopes killed
bluemax - May 1, 2009
Damn you
Well, he was getting some clutch singles if I remember correctly
gregrabble - May 1, 2009
Well, he got soul crushing outs a lot more often.
Decatur - May 1, 2009
Beat me to it.
Although I do sincerely hope his wOBA will get somewhere north of .300.
Decatur - May 1, 2009
In good news
Angels are down 4-0!
bluemax - May 1, 2009
And Hamilton is on the DL
All we need is Young and Kinsler now and that’s Texas nerfed as well!
EnglishMariner - May 1, 2009
Oh happy day..
We get see Joh pound the ball into the ground somemore.
houseofprime - May 1, 2009
*Pop-out to just beyond the infield.
Coach Owens - May 1, 2009
Better than watching Johnson strike out and then fail to catch 20% of the pitches thrown at him
Graham MacAree - May 1, 2009
Yeah that was getting annoying.
Guess the solution would be to give Clement a shot.
houseofprime - May 1, 2009
You guys are so tough on Johjima
He had a Beltresque year last year. He will bounce back this season
Tony S - May 1, 2009
.233 BABIP + highest LD% if Kenji's career = a guy who wasn't as bad as he looked.
faceplant_04 - May 1, 2009
The extension was awful awful awful
And yeah, we know Kenji wasn’t as bad as he looked last year
Graham MacAree - May 2, 2009
Joh quote
What’s this we hear about the Japanese work ethic?
appleshampoo - May 1, 2009
6:30 is ridiculous by any standards.
Mariner John - May 1, 2009
Carlos Silva is on a winning streak
That felt weird to type out
Tony S - May 1, 2009
A streak of 1!
OlSalty - May 1, 2009
Do it for Danny, Carlos!
Tony S - May 1, 2009
Who's that, Danny Tanner?
Omerta - May 1, 2009
Some dude in Vegas that old people pay to watch make impersonations.
He’s like a thin Frank Caliendo.
Wilder. - May 1, 2009
Oh dear....
OlSalty - May 1, 2009
And now the Angels are winning
bluemax - May 1, 2009
