After coming into the afternoon all knotted up, Yuniesky Betancourt has benefitted from an ineffective Barry Zito in jumping out to a two-walk lead. I'm going to go drop acid and swim to the moon because apparently today is Fuck You, Reality day.

Battng behind our best batter seems to improve the riffraff.
Beltre shows signs of getting out of his slump after several games at No. 2..
Next I want to see Johjima in the 2 hole.

We'll just bat two at a time like cricket.
Maybe we’d hit better with cricket bats too.
James F'n X - May 24, 2009
I'm pretty sure Ichiro would be the best cricket player of all time
Jeff Sullivan - May 24, 2009
I've been saying this for years

ICHIRO!!!
Would be the best _______ of all time.
Just fill in the blank with any activity and the sentence will still be true.

I just spent 10 minutes trying to come up with a better three and I just can't come up with any to top or add to that list.

That would be a poor batting order as there are no batsmen from 5 through 9 and therefore you'd be giving away 55% automatic outs
which would lead to a very poor RS total

Yeah but the #2 hole's gonna have like a 3.000 OPS, though.
Decatur - May 25, 2009
How is that different from our lineup now?
BQueezy - May 25, 2009
All our hitters have raced base at least once.

I love Johjima, but I don't love him that much
