I LOVE JOHJIMA!!!
Hopefulmsfan - May 31, 2009
Well that was worth joining for.
Poochie - May 31, 2009
Is this like the new +1?
Robert - May 31, 2009
No, this is much more annoying
OlSalty - May 31, 2009
I can't believe we got shut out by Matt Palmer.
Poochie - May 31, 2009
4 hours later, I'm still in awe
gregrabble - May 31, 2009
Morrow is a douche and should only be used as mopup in blowout losses.
The other guys, way to pull out a win. That rocked.
Sam Regens - May 31, 2009
Woooo 3 wins
I did a little happy dance after Lopez went yard and scared my cats. For a second I thought Dave was fucking with us again, with the “BELTED….and caught at the warning track” routine once again. Thank god not.
appleshampoo - May 31, 2009
That was clutch
Like most Mariners’ fans I stopped watching after it was 3-0. That HR was a very pleasant surprise. You usually don’t expect the M’s to rally late in the game. I’m use to it being the other way around. Anyways can anyone explain why Morrow has been so terrible this year? (I got caught up in the NBA playoffs and haven’t been paying attention to baseball until recently. I’m a little behind in the recent news)
Mejeh - May 31, 2009
Morrow's command has been flat out horrible, and he has been using his FB more than last season and guys are sitting on it.
EnglishMariner - May 31, 2009
HOLY SHIT
I didn’t watch the game, but I was following it during my shitty sleep [drunk too much last night so couldn’t sleep well]. The last time I checked the score it was 0-3, 1 out in the 9th 0-2 count. After that I decided to toss away my phone and try and get some proper sleep.
I didn’t check the score then until I woke up a few minutes ago and FUCK, I can’t remember us doing that … ever. Seriously when was the last time we came back from 3 runs in the ninth to win?
I’M ON A BOAT!
EnglishMariner - May 31, 2009
It's been so long since we spoke of boats.
I will have nautical dreams tonight now.
Decatur - May 31, 2009
And that would be

Decatur - May 31, 2009
I call this one the Yuni Punt
Jeff Sullivan - May 31, 2009
Someone get that retard some adderall
Aaron Campeau - May 31, 2009
WTF.
Some email this is to Tim Ruskell. Seahawks need a monkey punter.
MFAN - May 31, 2009
I love how Lopez is looking around to see if anyone else noticed it as he scolds him.
ralphie81 - May 31, 2009
Maybe we could trade him to the Detroit Lions.
I bet Daunte Culpeper could play better at SS.
Hopefulmsfan - May 31, 2009
So is this a reference to Lopez's homer?
What in blue blazes is he doing?
Jeff Sullivan - May 31, 2009
I missed the homer, did Lopez drop-kick it over the fence?
MFAN - May 31, 2009
That only counts if you're the home team
Jeff Sullivan - May 31, 2009
Ahhhh, well I give up then. Could just be that Yuni is retarded and actually thinks that he is playing football.
MFAN - May 31, 2009
That might explain a lot.
Hopefulmsfan - May 31, 2009
He does love the futbol.
msb - May 31, 2009
I'm just disappointed he didn't hurt himself while doing whatever the hell he was doing there.
JLProck - May 31, 2009
Watch his mouth right when the gif starts.
He’s spitting out his gum and punting it into CF.
Teej - May 31, 2009
And then being admonished by Jose Lopez, sportsmanship police.
Teej - May 31, 2009
Wow nice catch. You can actually see the gum fly from his mouth.
What a disgusting litterbug.
abender20 - May 31, 2009
Good eye
Jeff Sullivan - May 31, 2009
Ouch!
Phone home!
The Typical Idiot Fan - May 31, 2009
lopez
i know some of you have heard this before but"
JOSEEE JOSEE JOSEEE….JOSEEEEE, JOSEEEEEEEE
samuel loves jose - May 31, 2009
Jose Lopez is clutch.
It’s official. I made up a way to measure it. That HR was a 100 on the Lopez scale.
Hopefulmsfan - May 31, 2009
I'd like to say that I called that homer.
I am awesome
seattlebruin - May 31, 2009
Get in line Princess

Aaron Campeau - May 31, 2009
I called it when Betancourt was up
seattlebruin - May 31, 2009
I posted mine after the HR was hit.
Aaron Campeau - May 31, 2009
And you got recs for it
for shame
seattlebruin - May 31, 2009
I was busy trying to figure out what the actual odds of Lopez homering were.
Based on his career numbers the odds were 1:51.
Aaron Campeau - May 31, 2009
I also called it, though not here
OlSalty - May 31, 2009
And gregrabble with the assist!
gregrabble - May 31, 2009
Before the 9th even started, too.
The best part was that we both reacted first with exuberance, but were cracking up hysterically within seconds.
abender20 - May 31, 2009
In the ninth I was at a fine Vantucky bar going "Fuck you Mariners".
3 runs in one inning was a comical idea given this offense. Then it happened.
Big Jared - May 31, 2009
Has anybody been to HH tonight?
I don’t normally take pleasure in other peoples pain but ithis time it was almost therapeutic.
Hopefulmsfan - May 31, 2009
Fair warning. If you go over there to taunt or troll, you get banned from here.
Matthew - May 31, 2009
I got banned from there
For telling the truth. Rev fears the truth!
The Typical Idiot Fan - May 31, 2009
No worries.
I don’t troll, since I hate it when other people do it. I just read their comments.
Hopefulmsfan - May 31, 2009
All future Hall Of Famers go through slumps at some point.
Jose Lopez is no exception.
And fuck dialup for not allowing me to get on much this month.
Slica - May 31, 2009
Holy shit.
I remember at around 11:30 I checked my phone to see if we’d mustered any offense and managed to not get shut out. Imagine my surprise when I saw Mariners 4, Angels 3, F/10!! I thought I would be walking on air all night. LLLJ, but I am going to fucking kill the guy who spoiled this win for me by handing me something with 151 in it!
HOLY SHIT WE WON! Wheeeeeeeeee!!!! I take back at least one of the bad things I said about you, Jose Lopez! Amazing!
BrettJMiller - May 31, 2009
Niehaus' call of Lopez HR
Does anyone know where I can find it?
zeeehjee - May 31, 2009
MLB.com
Wilder. - May 31, 2009
All I can find is video.
And it’s the bad guys announcers. I checked all over KIRO’s site as well. Anywhere specific I’m missing?
zeeehjee - May 31, 2009
Do you have MLB.tv?
If so, go here http://mlb.mlb.com/mediacenter/index.jsp?ymd=20090530
and you can select the KIRO archive. HR is around the 3hr mark.
Matthew - May 31, 2009
Alternately.
Niehaus’ call
Matthew - May 31, 2009
I miss mlb.com not linking to radio highlights. :(
EnglishMariner - May 31, 2009
Well I guess this just means I'll have to manually provide them and reap the sweet sweet recs.
Matthew - May 31, 2009
I'm glad Dave finally had something to get excited about
gregrabble - May 31, 2009
I love this call! The wailing and booing of the Angels fans makes a nice background for the excitement and joy in Dave's voice.
Kermit. - May 31, 2009
Thanks a lot.
It is much appreciated. Just like this whole blog.
zeeehjee - May 31, 2009
Sorry
That was supposed to be a reply to Matthew above, but I guess it goes for the game chart as well.
