Jeff Sullivan - May 31, 2009
So to recap
We win a game we had no chance of winning and lose a game we had no chance of losing.
Fascinating.
ThundaPC - May 31, 2009
Odd the way things even out.

What's the suck level on Aardsma?
IT’S OVER NINE THOUSAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND!
Slurvey - May 31, 2009
So what you're saying is Aardsma might not be the closer of the future?
Here’s another cheery thought: Aardsma was drafted about where Josh Fields was, and was a dominant closer in the SEC.

-90.6%
Is that highest we’ve had?
Scruffy Lefty - May 31, 2009
I would think the first game of the season was worse
vivaelpujols - May 31, 2009
Batista had -82.1% in the 2nd game of the season (first game we won).
ThundaPC - May 31, 2009
Didn't Ichiro have -100% once in a game last year?
There were two outs in the bottom of the 9th and we were up by 1 with 2 runners on and someone hit a line drive right at him which he flubbed, costing us the game. If he’d caught it we would have won, but since he committed the error we lost.
OlSalty - May 31, 2009
I think that was a joke by Jeff at the time.
But it’s also possible to have >100%, and I suspect one of our players will succeed in that area some time soon.
