Guy at work: What an unbelievable game!
Man in the white polo: Yeah. Yeah.
Guy at work: That overtime was crazy, and then the winner?!? Amazing!
Man in the white polo: Totally.
Guy at work: Of all the good setups and that's the shot that gets through! I'm so glad I stuck with these guys!
Man in the white polo: Yeah no it was pretty cool

I will taste your mother

That reminds me of the episode of Sports Night
when Isaac revealed that, while he was at the “GIANTS WIN THE PENNANT!” game, he was in the bathroom when the HR happened.

Great reference
That was a drastically underrated show. I have yet to see an Aaron Sorkin product I was disappointed in.
seattlecougar - May 8, 2009
That scene was heartbreaking.
Teej - May 8, 2009
A lot of that show was
but yeah, that’s probably one of my favorite melancholy scenes from any TV show ever.
pdb - May 8, 2009
I honestly teared up.
Goodness I love that show.
Kirsten Schlewitz - May 8, 2009
I fired it up again a few months ago and forgot about the lame laughtrack it had at first.
But yeah, fantastic show.
Teej - May 8, 2009
I thought you were talking about a different game >:(

Wow! I can't stop laughing.
Sec 108 - May 8, 2009
This is hilarious but I'm boxing you out of principle
Graham MacAree - May 8, 2009
at least he got the trophy right
pdb - May 8, 2009
I'm quite surprised
Kirsten Schlewitz - May 8, 2009
Although it does rotate in the wrong direction
Graham MacAree - May 8, 2009
He's bashing his pursuer in the knee with it.
abender20 - May 8, 2009
I guess that's Ballack, isn't it. The best part is his gaping mouth.
abender20 - May 8, 2009
If it makes you feel any better
Robert - May 8, 2009
This isn't even baseball.
JI - May 8, 2009
Oh now I get it
Robert - May 8, 2009
You don't miss a thing do you?
Sec 108 - May 8, 2009
When you watch a highlight three dozen times new little things start to stand out
Jeff Sullivan - May 8, 2009
The highlight of Bolland's SHG in game two is miles better
Graham MacAree - May 8, 2009
It took me a minute to get it. I would never have seen it without your conversation.
Sec 108 - May 8, 2009
Likewise.
ningwers - May 8, 2009
What's he looking at? Was he trying to drown his sorrows in beer?
Kirsten Schlewitz - May 8, 2009
He kind of resembles Bartman
Tony S - May 8, 2009
Except not at all.
abender20 - May 8, 2009
That's a classic Chicago fan move.
Disappointed in something that makes no sense, he openly expresses his disgust so that everyone knows how much he is suffering.
abender20 - May 8, 2009
Well put.
Teej - May 8, 2009
If he took the time to shout "FUCK THE BREWERS", then everything would be complete.
abender20 - May 8, 2009
Who said Obsessive Compulsiveness has to be a disorder?
Way to pick that out. Great find for a bad ending for Vancouver.
Tony S - May 8, 2009
One of my favorite highlights of all time
was a few years ago when the Pistons were playing the Nuggets and the Nuggets were inbounding up 3 with like 2 seconds left. Since it was in Detroit, many fans were leaving as Sheed steals the inbounds and hits a 3/4 court shot to send it into OT. On the replays you can see all these people walking up the stairs with their back to the game turning around after the shot goes in, looking around in wonder because they actually do not know what happened. I love it because how the hell do you explain to your friends that you were at the game but you missed a ridiculous shot to send it to OT because you wanted to beat traffic?

This is a hilarious observation
and I am happy to say that I understood it completely on the first viewing.
JI - May 8, 2009
What is this 'hockey' thing?
I dont think I’ve heard of it before.
It looks a little like baseball except the ball is a disc instead of a sphere, the bat is curved at the end, and everyone pitches to everyone else, along the ground.
ARock - May 8, 2009
It's like baseball but much more entertaining
Graham MacAree - May 8, 2009
We're baseball fans!
We only like boring sports.
Boring sports other than soccer. :)
ARock - May 8, 2009
gay
JI - May 8, 2009
It's like soccer.
It’s boring and no one likes it, and it makes great fodder for jokes.
Teej - May 8, 2009
It has more sharp things than soccer
JI - May 8, 2009
Somebody paid $190 for him to be able to sit there and miss that goal
Jeff Sullivan - May 8, 2009
And the other really important Hawks goal was about as far away from him as it could get
Graham MacAree - May 8, 2009
I swear he looks away from the goal, then down, back toward the goal, but not AT the goal.
It’s very strange
Kirsten Schlewitz - May 8, 2009
No stranger than you turning off the radio because you think your jinxing the team
JI - May 8, 2009
They started losing each time I started paying attention.
Of course it was me
Kirsten Schlewitz - May 8, 2009
And to think that we locked the kid out of the community projections because we thought he had no prognostication skills

I wish I understood whats significant in this gif.
Fin - May 8, 2009
The guy in the white shirt celebrated prematurely
JI - May 8, 2009
I get it.
The I love Johjima! post was still much funnier.
Fin - May 8, 2009
I lied.
JI - May 8, 2009
JI is always the first guy to notice it when a guy finishes prematurely
Robert - May 8, 2009
Not one of your better efforts
JI - May 8, 2009
That wasn't a celebration
that was him being upset.
Jeff Sullivan - May 8, 2009
He was gesturing frustrated that the goal was missed, and then looked at his friends and began to sit down.

The screen
That was a monster screen. That Blackhawk just camped out in front of Luongo for like, 2 solid seconds.
Charles Gipson is a Mangod - May 8, 2009
The tip was better than the screen
Graham MacAree - May 8, 2009
Your name is beautiful.
