Now, I've seen the Mariners play some clunkers before, but I don't think I've ever seen them fail to get at least a single positive contribution. So that's new.

Slurvey - July 30, 2009
Why the fuck is Olsen in the starting rotation?
Mariner Melee - July 30, 2009
You don't have to worry about that anymore.
kevin_ess - July 30, 2009
Bring on THE FISTER please.
Okay thanks, goodbye.
appleshampoo - July 30, 2009
Olson had the most contribution, to me, in this game.
The most contribution to us losing.
M'sin.. - July 30, 2009
Hence Olson being the biggest suckfest.
MFAN - July 30, 2009
I totally didn't read that.
Eh, I’m not perfect.
M'sin.. - July 30, 2009
It's only posted on every game recap
seattlebruin - July 31, 2009
Good Grief!
It does feel like you’ve been tricked again into trying to kick the football when Olson pitches.
LauraBu - July 30, 2009
Good grief is an oxymoron.
M'sin.. - July 30, 2009

Looks like I made a good decision to abandon this game early.
Goose - July 30, 2009
Well help is on the way!
Rich Poythress just doubled.
Slurvey - July 30, 2009
But can he pitch!?
kentroyals5 - July 30, 2009
It is rare that I do not regret missing an entire game
This appears to be an occasion when I need have no regrets.
pdb - July 30, 2009
Probably one of the worst games of the year.
Fin - July 30, 2009
You missed Loafie looking three years younger on a grounder up the middle
But that’s about it.
BigR - July 30, 2009
I'm gonna kill someone
if Jarrod Washburn is on this team at 4:01 PM whateverthefucktimezone daylight time.
craig3410 - July 30, 2009
There is really no value for him to stay. I'll be disappointed.
If Washburn wants to stay, whatever. He can come back in a couple months. But for the next couple months he doesn’t do us much good on our team.

So fuck Buster Olney?
I get it..sorry for dragging this topic into this thread. Let’s move it folks!
kentroyals5 - July 30, 2009
Thank you
Jeff Sullivan - July 30, 2009
I wasn't really talking about *Washburn* specifically
so much as I would have been disappointed as all hell that if the FO didn’t give up Washburn for a B or C prospect, it’s because they still think they’re in the race and want to hold onto him for the stretch run.
craig3410 - July 30, 2009
I know
it’s just an off-topic sort of matter, and I’d prefer to see those go somewhere more appropriate.
Jeff Sullivan - July 30, 2009
It seem like every team is so strapped for pitching this year.
They are afraid to give up a Washburn or any other half decent pitcher for fear they will be left with nothing. No amount of prospects seem to be good enough for an ace in trade. No wonder the endless bandwidth wasted in the past two weeks over Halladay and Lee on every fan’s websites. This is going to make the AL West even more competitive going down the stretch than most people think. There are’nt a whole lot of options for pitching staffs unless some individual pitchers start to turn things around. The Angels have their hands full of it as well.
44FAN - July 30, 2009
Hey, finally!
We were always talking about whether or not it was possible for an all negative contribution. Success!
CapSea - July 30, 2009
I can't believe this never happened in 2004
Jeff Sullivan - July 30, 2009
It's hard when you have a player that averages 1.62 hits every game?
