Per Salk. Details as we get them.
Thank goodness.
Update: Luke French and Maurico Robles. Awesome awesome awesome awesome. French is a 23 year old average-looking ML lefty under club control for six more years and is basically what would happen if you went back in time and grabbed Washburn from 11 years ago. Robles is a 20 year old left handed A-baller and helps replace the three guys we gave up for Wilson and Snell. Amazing.
Updated update: Robles strikes out a lot of people. His swinging strikeout rate is 23%. 23%! Walks are too high but not a big deal. This looks like an absolute steal. Velo goes from 88-93, good curve, working on a changeup. If he gets the change working he's a starter in the bigs.

Exellent news although I have no idea what the Tigers could give back given
their weak system. But it doesn’t really matter. Just glad we’re likely going to avoid letting Wash take up a ton of future payroll.
However, I will say thank you to Washburn for a nice job this year.
Rudy4three - July 31, 2009
Luke French and a minor leaguer
hahahahahhaha

I read we're getting Luke French and another player.

Didnt we just beat French?

Huh, looks like Robles is a high strikeout/high walk pitcher. At least so far.
11.34 K/9 in A ball this year. Pretty good for a 20 year old.
Coach Owens - July 31, 2009
Not so high walk, really
given his age and level.

Interesting that the M's have gotten two small lefties in Saito and Robles who can
get big K’s. Nice left handed relievers on the way.
Rudy4three - July 31, 2009
Don't write off Robles as a reliever yet
Where he is now, he has a real chance to be a really good starter.
The Ancient Mariner - July 31, 2009
Saito started in his last game too, I think.
So it’s possible they could both be converted into SP prospects.
Kaorikaze - July 31, 2009
With good reason, imho.
Saito’s another one who looked too impressive to me to be automatically relegated to the ‘pen just because he’s short. (That’s all it is with either of these guys, I think — scouting prejudice.)
The Ancient Mariner - July 31, 2009
The Tigers are fools!
JMKaustin - July 31, 2009

Eyeball Kid - July 31, 2009
Thanks Wash
Seriously. I know the guy is very, very well compensated to perform, so it’s not like doing well was some altruistic endeavor. But putting it together this year was a huge benefit to the team on the field, and apparently now to the team’s future by making himself a valuable trade piece.
Good luck in Motown dude. You done good.

Hear, hear.

tootthekazoo - July 31, 2009
The only sad part about this is that Washburn isn't going into a situation where he'd absolutely get lit up
Poochie - July 31, 2009
He'll probably be in a pissy mood for a couple starts and pitch poorly as a result
tootthekazoo - July 31, 2009
Why be pissy?
He’s now on a winner :)
msb - July 31, 2009
He's actually moving close to home, to pennant race, and in a big ballpark with Granderson flanking him
As long as Guillen stays on the DL he should be ecstatic
Poochie - July 31, 2009
Salk mentions that he spoke to him and that he's a bit disappointed because he wanted to stay in Seattle
He’ll be happy for the reasons you mentioned, but I’m just saying it may take him a start or two to adjust

Rudy4three - July 31, 2009
He's a rookie with a mid 3 ERA.
How can they complain?
JMKaustin - July 31, 2009
No, the link Graham provided to Salk's blog makes him sound like he thinks it's a good trade
tootthekazoo - July 31, 2009
Did you hear Salk giving Brock shit for Brock giving his evaluation of the Snell/Wilson trade as a number grade and not, as Salk preferred, as a letter grade.
Classic stuff.
ImaginaryRomances - July 31, 2009
"Robles strikes out a lot of people. His swinging strikeout rate is 23%. "

A lot
Graham MacAree - July 31, 2009

23% is Kyle Drabeky. Drabek is one of the best prospects going right now.

Of course, it we were in the Central…
Mr.Phelps - July 31, 2009
They think he projects as a Type A free agent.
What?
Zwakamatsu - July 31, 2009
How is he not a Type A?
Especially based on his ERA this year, and his IP over the last few seasons? I thought that being a Type A was pretty easy, I remember last year some Type A’s who were pretty much garbage players till making the list
Of course maybe they changed the rules or I’m mistaken…
BQueezy - July 31, 2009
They take more than this year into consideration.
He’s fourth from the bottom in terms of Type B guys.
Aaron Campeau - July 31, 2009
IP, ERA, K's, Wins, Win% for SP
all over the last 2 years. I think it’s top 20% of players in each grouping (SP, RP, C, 1B/OF, SS/2B/3B), usually around 16 or 17 make Type A. Washburn is a Type B right now (the next 16-17 or so), but he could definitely slip out of Type B to nothing over the rest of the season fairly easily.
Not to mention you have to offer him arbitration in order to get any comp picks, which he would probably accept, and would make in the ballpark of 13-15M.
Terminator X - July 31, 2009
Yeah exactly so offering him arbitration is kind of a lose lose deal for them, just as it would have been for us.
Zwakamatsu - July 31, 2009
Perhaps now we can stop threatening to turn on Z simply because we don't like the leaks that we hear from other organization

Graham MacAree - July 31, 2009

Poochie - July 31, 2009
Snell's still pretty young
and Wilson provides great defense and helps to bridge the gap until we get someone to replace him long-term.
Coach Owens - July 31, 2009
Another thing is (likely) losing Griffey/Sweeney
GMZ + Wak seem to like having high-character veterans around, so assuming Griffey and Sweeney are gone, Wilson steps into that role – as well as being a good glove.
And Snell’s young and potentially under team control for several years at reasonable salaries if we elect to pick up his options.
saltydog75 - July 31, 2009

So presumably we’d be able to get a far more valuable return. Imagine getting our version of Andrus and Feliz. If you get an offer with a top-5 prospect, a top 15 prospect, a top 50 prospect and a handful of A-ball live arms/toolsy fielders, you have to seriously consider that trade, especially if the top two prospects are at positions of need (SP and SS, say)
Terminator X - July 31, 2009
I am going to guess that when Jeff posted the french flag last week during the Washburn start
He was trying to imply to us that we were going to surrender him to the Tigers. Good job Sullivan, Thank you for continuing to provide us with inside information.
Robert - July 31, 2009
Also...
I wonder who will be this trading deadline’s Woody Woodward….
I need a closer..no wait two closers….here take my best prospects please…….
I was secretly hoping that would be the case with Washburn that we would wait until the last hour and fleece the shit out of some team….I guess we were able to do that early in the day instead!
tkballer22 - July 31, 2009
Anyone else a "fan" of the Seattle Mariners facebook page?
The comments on the trade are absolute GOLD. Just hilarious.

Never again.
Eyeball Kid - July 31, 2009

I've been SO tempted to straighten those people out
But it would just be a terrible, terrible mess.
Those people are insane.

I like the guy who was mad because we traded for a guy whose name he could not pronounce.
I wish he was our GM.

Doesn’t seem that difficult
Kermit. - July 31, 2009
Just the pure expectation that wins and ERAs are all that matters
Unreal.

How do people who think ERA is good even find Fangraphs?
Eyeball Kid - July 31, 2009

msb - July 31, 2009
This is like the guy on a basketball message board who argued that UCLA just needed one player to put them over the top
or as he put it, “a Kobe Bryant type, someone who can shoot well, drive well, pass, play elite defense, get rebounds and make everyone around him better.”
seattlebruin - July 31, 2009
Well, was he wrong?
Lanky - July 31, 2009
not the point
does that player exist? Is that player available? Can a deal be made?
Fans of every baseball team want an Albert Pujols or a Roy Halladay. What most people that call in to talk radio don’t get is that you can’t expect to trade for Pujols-level talent with Washburn-level trade pieces.
pdb - July 31, 2009
That reminds me of the guy that starts off with one paper clip and winds up with a house.
That’s kind of how I view GMZ and the M’s. His red paper clip are the players he has to trade with when he arrived, almost as a separate entity from his drafts and minor league additions.
Kermit. - July 31, 2009
That was really meant as a joke.
Lanky - July 31, 2009

There was actually more reasonable opinion after it as well, I just liked the 104 games part.

If he maintains his current peformance level in Detroit he should be in line for a nice contract. That won't be with the M's.
lemonverbena - July 31, 2009
ERA is not a measure of pitcher performance
Graham MacAree - July 31, 2009
For Boras it is.
Mariner Melee - July 31, 2009
By whatever measure you like, his performance level was good enough for teams to want him in a trade
lemonverbena - July 31, 2009
No, the team run prevention when he was pitching was good enough for teams to want him
There is a huge difference
Graham MacAree - July 31, 2009
Perceived value is value, however you slice it
lemonverbena - July 31, 2009
Right, but his perceived value is decoupled from his actual performance
So if he keeps up said performance he’s not actually very good.
Graham MacAree - July 31, 2009
Fair enough. I'll rephrase to say, "If he continues to be the starting pitcher during games his team wins."
lemonverbena - July 31, 2009
I think lv's point is about how Wash's results translate to value on the trade market.
Decatur - July 31, 2009
The ERA is not Washburn's result, is my point.
Graham MacAree - July 31, 2009
But the market doesn't really care
Jeff Sullivan - July 31, 2009
Which was lemonverbena's point, I think.

Doyle Alexander was 36 when the Braves traded him to the Tigers, Washburn is 34. Alexander pitched 206 innings that year, Washburn is on pace for 211. Washburn is on pace for 125 strikeouts, Alexander had 126 strikeouts the next year.

And just by trading Jarrod Washburn, we know Jack Z could give a shit about ERA and probably reads Dave Cameron and LL.
Kenny Knows Sports - July 31, 2009
We know that the Mariners front office reads Lookout Landing and USSM (that M's front office guy who made the fanshot and his brother's wedding this winter said so).
But GMZ didn’t need anyone outside the M’s organization to tell that trading Washburn was imperative.

Lanky - July 31, 2009
The shirt coming off!!!
royalcurve - July 31, 2009
It's Tony Bernazard!
Big Jared - July 31, 2009
Over/under before Washburn throws G. Laird under a bus?
I’d say 5 starts before the bloom is off the rose.
PDXTai - July 31, 2009
Latest Baker blog says Robles was the key
Source calls him top-5 prospect in the system
Also has a link to a Detroit news commentary about how losing Robles could hurt.
Interesting.
seattlesundevil - July 31, 2009
Tigers are as thin of a system that you can get
Trenchtown - July 31, 2009
Do I really have to work today? Fack.
lemonverbena - July 31, 2009
Geoff Baker likes it.
Maybe many of the fans will breathe sigh of relief.
Kenny Knows Sports - July 31, 2009
I can't believe the Tigers fans are so happy about this.
Makes me wonder if we could’ve finagled another player. But this was still a great trade for us.
Wilder. - July 31, 2009
Best to take a good deal than blow it trying for a great deal.
This is a good deal. Be happy.
PDXTai - July 31, 2009
I really, really want a hitter. But yeah, had to take it without risking blowing it. The cost of keeping Jarrod was too high.
Kenny Knows Sports - July 31, 2009
This organization needs pitching depth.
abender20 - July 31, 2009
And to announce the signing of Ackley.
abender20 - July 31, 2009
Ackley and Poythress are a good start. I'm just sick of not bringing up a great hitter since... A-Rod?
Lopez has been the closest thing, unless I’m forgetting someone.
Kenny Knows Sports - July 31, 2009
Felix?
PDXTai - July 31, 2009
Adam Jones?
yuniform - July 31, 2009
When was the last "great pitcher" we brought up? Felix.
Great players are rare.
abender20 - July 31, 2009
I'm not upset about it.
I am happy.
Wilder. - July 31, 2009
Wait Softy loves this deal
Does not compute on any level ever. I have literally not ever been more confused.
Robert - July 31, 2009
There was a good caller on 710 that amazed me hearing that kind of stuff on the radio.
w00tah - July 31, 2009
But Brock is still verbally stroking Washburn's penis.
w00tah - July 31, 2009
Brock needs to stick to Football, he knows absolutly nothing about Baseball
GoCougs - July 31, 2009
It's funny when he forces an analogy that compares football to baseball
tootthekazoo - July 31, 2009
I cringe at the random contract numbers he throws out there for potential free agent deals.
You can almost see Salk giving him a “what the hell are you talking about” look.
Omerta - July 31, 2009
Brock has his role in the baseball talk (playing casual fan devil's advocate type) and he's great at it.
He’s obviously not as good as Salk, but he’s not as clueless as he sounds. Honestly he’s impressed me almost as much as Salk.
Aaron Campeau - July 31, 2009
Now a caller called Jack Z. "Jack Bavasi"
w00tah - July 31, 2009
Did Salk let him have it?
BrianL - July 31, 2009
Yes.
ralphie81 - July 31, 2009
I like that Mike Salk is good at his job.
BrianL - July 31, 2009
heh.
Salk: Did you like the Bedard trade?
Angry Caller who hates “unproven” players: Yes, until he started getting hurt all the time.
msb - July 31, 2009
Yeah, but Salk and Brock still dont like the trade.
w00tah - July 31, 2009
Hopefully Salk gets on LL during the commercials
abender20 - July 31, 2009
I like how Bavasi is joining the ranks of Mariner cursewords
alongside Woodward (not Chris), Schooler, Ayala, and A-Rod
yuniform - July 31, 2009
Wait, really?
That…does not seem right.
BrianL - July 31, 2009
So now that O. Cabrera's a Twin,
is there anyone the A’s could possibly sell? Maybe Jack Cust?
yuniform - July 31, 2009
Anderson?
InSpokane - July 31, 2009
Michael Wuertz
Adam Kennedy, Bobby Crosby (if there is interest), Raja Davis,
Trenchtown - July 31, 2009
I forgot about Crosby.
He’d make sense, given his contract (up at the end of the year, millions).
Would anyone really want Rajai Davis?
yuniform - July 31, 2009
And if they want to dump their bullpen, maybe someone would take Russ Springer.
Their only big-money contracts are:
Chavez, Crosby, Giambi, Duchsherer (little interest, I’d guess)
Ellis, (won’t trade)
Kennedy, Springer (could still leave)
yuniform - July 31, 2009
I love that thanks to Jack Z
I no longer live in fear on my birthday
seattlebruin - July 31, 2009
I'd say happy birthday, but I know it already is. I'll save it for next year.
andrewgolfsalot - July 31, 2009
Not so fast.
Wilder. - July 31, 2009
bahahaha
seattlebruin - July 31, 2009
EVERYBODY HIDE TORII'S COMING
esoteric - July 31, 2009
YAY
royalcurve - July 31, 2009
You never know. The day's not over. Z might dump Lopez for a real Second Baseman.
InSpokane - July 31, 2009
Branyan, Morrow, Batista, Lowe.
I have to leave to run errands in a few minutes. The above are names I would not mind returning to find that we have traded.
katal - July 31, 2009
White?
Omerta - July 31, 2009
We could dump our whole bullpen this morning and I'd be okay with it.
(as long as we got something for DA)
yuniform - July 31, 2009
Truth.
Omerta - July 31, 2009
I was just kidding around with seattlebruin
It would make me sad to see Branyan go. I know we’re not going to the playoffs, but he sure makes games funner to watch.
InSpokane - July 31, 2009
I too love that man and would hate to see him go.
Does he have much of a trade value? It seems like it would be more valuable on the 2010 roster, rather than trading him
d0nkey - July 31, 2009
We'd have to resign him first.
Honestly though, I don’t expect him to have much of a trade value, being that he’s sat out practically all week.
katal - July 31, 2009
Wilson would love to get Freddy Sanchez ...
msb - July 31, 2009
I hope French is cosiderably better then Olson
That’s a lot of balls in the air
Trenchtown - July 31, 2009
Jack, you totally redeemed yourself!
I am so sorry I ever doubted you.
Goose - July 31, 2009
So, is Robles>Lorin?
Is that even a fair comparison?
yuniform - July 31, 2009
That's the impression I'm getting.
katal - July 31, 2009
Yes. He's pitching at a higher level with success and he's 2 years younger
Rudy4three - July 31, 2009
Ok, thanks.
yuniform - July 31, 2009
Delayed reaction since I was on the road, but
WEEEEEEE I LOVE YOU GMZ
BrianL - July 31, 2009
Brock thinks now they have no chance to compete over the next 60 days.
And somehow they would have with one of the top-5 pitchers in baseball?
msb - July 31, 2009
VETERAN PRESENCE IS EVERYTHING YOU FOOL
pdb - July 31, 2009
Boy that sure is the theme of a lot of comments and callers.
msb - July 31, 2009
WITHOUT VETERAN PRESENCE THE M'S MIGHT AS WELL BE PLAYING CHECKERS
pdb - July 31, 2009
Belief system, belief system, belief system, belief system, belief system.
w00tah - July 31, 2009
Compete for what?
I swear to god a football player can boil everything down to a Hail Mary pass for the win.
Kermit. - July 31, 2009
I think he is the only one who thinks
a Felix/Wash 1-2 punch is sooo great. He acts like there is no way Washburn regresses back to his career norm
Rudy4three - July 31, 2009
The only one?
Hardly.
ralphie81 - July 31, 2009
Well maybe mainstream Seattle Mariner fans.
I just laugh when he says “Going into next year putting Washburn behind Felix, you know what you have”
Rudy4three - July 31, 2009
Oh, we know what we have alright.
Terminator X - July 31, 2009
This is the guy that is educating many young Seattle fans on baseball.
Kenny Knows Sports - July 31, 2009
So, that's it right? we're done?
or can they still announce something? Cause if we’re holding on to Branyan there is every reason to think he’s staying here another year or two.
Bearskin Rugburn - July 31, 2009
It's 1 p.m. local time..
Still have 2 hours left
seattlesundevil - July 31, 2009
Deadline to file trade paperwork with the league is 1PM PT, so theoretically there's still time
dammit Bruin you and your fast little fingers.
pdb - July 31, 2009
My bad, sorry Sundevil
I’m just conditioned to see seattlebruin

seattlesundevil - July 31, 2009
Purposefully
Kirsten Schlewitz - July 31, 2009
Oh I thought it was 1pm eastern
sweet thanks
Bearskin Rugburn - July 31, 2009
Plus, sometimes trades somehow get announced after the deadline.
I’d say by game time today, everything will probably be final.
Until the August 31 deadline.
yuniform - July 31, 2009
Bedard can still move via waiver trade, no?
He’s owed some money and is a bit of a risk healthwise so they could try to sneak him through that way if he can some back for a bit. Not that I think he’d bring back much, but whatever comes back need to be better than a sandwich pick and we’re cool.
Bearskin Rugburn - July 31, 2009
I'd bet someone would take Bedard off waivers.
If he’s healthy, he’s owed about $3 mill.
yuniform - July 31, 2009
Then we either work out a deal with them
or pull him back. No biggie.
Bearskin Rugburn - July 31, 2009
Yeah, every team does this, right?
Like that time the Padres accidentally got that high-priced reliever?
yuniform - July 31, 2009
So can we say, so far, after the Washburn trade,
that thus far the moves being made in total is a plus?
Zwakamatsu - July 31, 2009
Yeah.
I feel better about the Snell/Wilson trade now in conjuction with this.
Goose - July 31, 2009
I don't want to say the Wash trade is a fleecing,
but holy crap did we get a lot for 2 months of Washburn.
Zwakamatsu - July 31, 2009
its a fleecing
think of it in terms of marginal wins. Washburn gives Detroit maybe 1.5 at best the rest of the way. French, even if he’s bad, will be worth six at least over his time here (I’m taking kind of a worst case scenario 1 WAR/season here) plus there’s Robles. Hell, if we put French in the pen and he pitches well we’ve still won.
The only way this could be justified is marginal wins cost more in a playoff race, but even so the Tigers have improved only by a fraction of a win by adding Wash.
Bearskin Rugburn - July 31, 2009
That's it, you've pushed me over the edge,
it’s a fleecing.
Zwakamatsu - July 31, 2009
Did you watch last night's game?
We need French in the rotation.
yuniform - July 31, 2009
I know, I'm just saying that even if he completely bombs he'll still give us more value than Washburn to the Tigers
Bearskin Rugburn - July 31, 2009
What discount factor is applied to the value of a future win?
TheTank123 - July 31, 2009
That's a non sequitur
because French replaces Washburn. Snell replaces Olson.
The Ancient Mariner - July 31, 2009
I was replying to:
“Hell, if we put French in the pen and he pitches well we’ve still won.”
yuniform - July 31, 2009
I don't know how 'safe' a prospect this Robles guy is
but the fact that we have a solid ML back end starter for the next several years makes the loss of Lorin Probanic etc pretty easy to bear. Remember, we still have Ramirez and Pineda. The way I see it is the major league club has gotten a good deal better, a little of our low minors SP depth has been sacrificed for AAA/AAAA starting depth, and the only valuable player we’ve surrendered is Clement.
Jack has been kicking ass and taking names.
Bearskin Rugburn - July 31, 2009
Im still holding out hope that Aumont goes back to the rotation.
Kenny Knows Sports - July 31, 2009
I don't see why these two trades get grouped together.
There’s no clear link between them, except maybe Robles=the three minors arms we dealt.
It’s hard to find any fault in the Washburn trade, but easy to question the Snell deal.
yuniform - July 31, 2009
I don't know if Goose was so much connecting the trades,
just saying that what we got back for Wash definitely counter-balances the fact that we overpaid a bit of Snell/Wilson. In total it ends up being a positive.
Zwakamatsu - July 31, 2009
Salk just can't balance what he sees as the "buy" mode of the WIlson trade vs the "sell" mode of the Wash trade.
msb - July 31, 2009
Because heaven forbid a team look at itself from all angles and improve both now and later
pdb - July 31, 2009
Long term?
Something for nothing with Washburn? At 2 months left on his contract… I don’t know it appears to be kind of obvious
Kermit. - July 31, 2009
Yeah it really sucks when you try to see a shade of grey in the black-and-white-world doesn't it?
Zwakamatsu - July 31, 2009
I meant the sum of everything equals long term.
I’m starting to think from the comments that this Salk guy wants the M’s to compete for the playoffs this year.
Kermit. - July 31, 2009
Bingo.
Altogether this has been a successful trade deadline for the team(assuming we don’t do anything else in the next 90 minutes).
Goose - July 31, 2009
I think you have to link them together because I think it's fairly obvious that Zduriencik has a plan.
Aaron Campeau - July 31, 2009
Ted Kieth is retarded.
Seriously.
andrewgolfsalot - July 31, 2009
That throwing the white towel line bugs the crap out of me.
Z would have to leverage the minor league system to get the players necessary to gain serious ground. If the kind of players necessary are even available, and even then the M’s future would still be in the hands of the Angels, they still have to lose games for us to gain ground. He starts chasing playoffs this year he’s throwing away wins in the future
Kermit. - July 31, 2009
A lot of people don't really understand how big of a deficit 8 games is to make up over 2 teams, even if this was like May.
Zwakamatsu - July 31, 2009
Caller who thinks they sold too early-- why, look, the Angels are underdogs in Minnesota tonight
msb - July 31, 2009
So who takes Wash's roster spot?
w00tah - July 31, 2009
Snell or French.
MFAN - July 31, 2009
French is joing the team enroute, per Drayer, and likely will get a start this weekend
msb - July 31, 2009
I'm guess Snell takes Washburn's spot and French takes Olsen's spot.
Goose - July 31, 2009
Yeah, I expect both of them will be in the rotation shortly.
MFAN - July 31, 2009
Yeah
For now, French will stay in the bigs, Snell will stay in AAA.
yuniform - July 31, 2009
Huh?
Not likely Snell stays in AAA — not the way Olson’s last couple starts have gone.
The Ancient Mariner - July 31, 2009
I expect Snell on Sunday
Jeff Sullivan - July 31, 2009
I guess that's French's day to pitch too
Jeff Sullivan - July 31, 2009
FIGHT
Bearskin Rugburn - July 31, 2009
Is this why Snell wasn't rushed to Tacoma?
w00tah - July 31, 2009
Robles was born in Valencia, Venezuela
Awesome.
Fuckmikereilly - July 31, 2009
Lefty Felix!
I Lick Squirrels - July 31, 2009
Any idea who Boston sent to Cleveland for V Mart?
Kenny Knows Sports - July 31, 2009
Can you use the general deadline thread for this?
Graham MacAree - July 31, 2009
So why wasn't Robles on any prospect lists or anything?
Can’t find him, and he seems like quite a talent. Was he just too young or was something keeping him off BA’s/John Sickels lists?
Fuckmikereilly - July 31, 2009
Numbers last year weren't all that good. He's blown up this year.
Rudy4three - July 31, 2009
Well, Buster Olney says the Tigers made a good trade...
and calls Wash the “best pitcher in the AL over the last two months besides Mark Buerhle.”
Second thoughts anyone?
yuniform - July 31, 2009
(I hope no one says yes)
yuniform - July 31, 2009
Yes
If my first thought is, “I love this trade,” my second thought is, "This is why I don’t go to Buster Olney for analysis.
The Ancient Mariner - July 31, 2009
Luke French has a decent chance of pitching better in the the last 2 months of the season than Washburn.
That’s all I’ll say.
Zwakamatsu - July 31, 2009
Summary for those that skipped to the end:
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!
Faux - July 31, 2009
The more I think about this trade the better it sounds.
I am so so amazed at the 180 degree turn this organization has pulled. It feels so foreign, and so good, to have faith in the front office. I am just in awe. I’m going to Griffey bobblehead night next Friday and I think I’m just gonna make a sign that says “Thank you Jack Zduriencik.”
