While you can say we weren’t really “in it”, It would have made a difference for our postseason chances. The team minus the bullpen is going pretty well now.
Do we necessarily need to "sell high" on Josh Wilson?
His “big brother” is surely the better option for an everyday SS going forward, I get that, but aside from that shorthop in Detroit Josh has looked like a pretty good guy to have available to come off the bench, either to hit or field (can he run?).
What is the story of that particular image?
BRKLN M'S - August 21, 2009
it was on an ad a long ways back.
sirbrianwilson - August 21, 2009
That was actually on an ad?
What is it for?
Fearless Frog - August 21, 2009
I Can't Believe It's Not Butter.
Mariner John - August 21, 2009
It's a surprised face that I found on Google Image search several years ago
Jeff Sullivan - August 22, 2009
So it's not Matthew's grandfather? :(
Decatur - August 23, 2009
Nice to see the bullpen not blow it for once.

Bill Hall is more useful then I ever imagined.
Plus we got through the game with minimal racism! I’m proud!
JamMasterJesus - August 21, 2009
Hall was playing?
Slurvey - August 21, 2009
Well this explains the lack of racism.
JamMasterJesus - August 21, 2009
I was actually surprised to see he was black.
Not sure why it surprised me, it just sounds like a white name.
Hopefulmsfan - August 22, 2009
Now I'm just really pissed off.
Jack Moore - August 21, 2009
But...
I’m proud
JamMasterJesus - August 22, 2009
Josh Wilson's Homer went farther
than any home run Jose Lopez has hit this year…
Malcontent1 - August 22, 2009
Jose Lopez has warning track light tower power.
JamMasterJesus - August 22, 2009
So I'm starting to like Josh Wilson.
Is there anyway he could be a late bloomer?
houseofprime - August 22, 2009
I feel at the very least he's developing some value that we could maybe use as part of a trade.
SethGrandpa - August 22, 2009
The new Bloomquist.
Hopefulmsfan - August 22, 2009
With more HR's.
Hopefulmsfan - August 22, 2009

Bloomie had that inside the parker that one time.
appleshampoo - August 22, 2009
I'm betting that Jeff likes Cleveland's call of Josh Wilson's homerun.
ThundaPC - August 22, 2009
UH OH
The chuckle after Branyan’s HR was funny too.
Milendriel - August 22, 2009
Lame

Aly Edge - August 22, 2009
Welcome Bill Hall
We need more brothers on this team.
appleshampoo - August 22, 2009
Especially now that Jose Lopez doesn't qualify as one.
katal - August 22, 2009
Ian Snell apparently does, though.
Wilder. - August 22, 2009
Ian Snell is some kind of Cuban, and there is no way to persuade me otherwise.
JamMasterJesus - August 22, 2009
You sound like people at an old folks home who have lively debates about the ethnicity of the television news anchor.
Decatur - August 23, 2009
Holy shit
French allowed eight line drives?
