WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Did I mention WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! ?

Nice to be at, especially that after I had just mention to my friend how a walk-off “might be nice”.

Just swell.

Ryan Langerhans is a walk-off monster.
That might be one of the best pictures I've ever seen.
I love Langerhans.

He may be my favorite Mariner. If I felt he had any job security, I’d totally buy his jersey.

Bullpen antics

So just after RR-S was done warming up and he, Joh, and Adair were walking down the ramp, Lowe ran up behind Adair and gave him a nut check (I think, they were partially down the ramp). Maybe he gave him a credit card or something, but either way, Adair jumped about 2 feet in the air and spun around, it was pretty hilarious. The rest of the bullpen guys congratulated him, those guys are nuts down there. I hope the joviality continues next year (and they perform better as well, that would be cool).

I thought

He had done that thing where you kick someone in the back of the knees or something, but I didn’t have the best angle on it. Whatever it was, it was funny.

After the Griffey strikeout I yelled "go back to Cincinnati!' and my entire section glared at me

Awesome fucking game

Classy
Agreed

He should have pointed out the steroids instead

Hmmmm. From the MLB.com recap:

""There were a lot of low hook shots to the ribs," Langerhans said with a smile.

That, of course, is a good thing."

Mark Ellis, what a cutie
Langerhans!

And the past few games, the timely hitting in general has been very bad, but they’ve jacked a couple out (maybe all the runs came from HRs?) and the pitching has been really great at holding the opposition to less runs.

Yeah, the pitching has been great at holding the opposition to less runs.

Forget the line drives and fuck the defense for just standing out on the field.

The 2009 Mariners: Why Defense > Pitching
Actually, that's a radical statement. Maybe they're about equal.
My bad, guys. I meant pitching&defense as a unit.

Really some nice run prevention.

Jeez and double my bad, that should've been a reply.
And I like that Joh has been catching more games recently.
