I love Bill Hall.
I know he’s not hitting that well, but he’s just so good defensively everywhere. Can we trade Lopez and make him our everyday 2B?
Kyle Rancourt - September 2, 2009
Can't have much versatility if he's the everday second baseman.
Janic - September 2, 2009
Bill says SS is his best & favorite position
msb - September 2, 2009
I'm thinking Lopez is about as good as Hall and cheaper and signed for longer.
Mariner John - September 2, 2009
Not cheaper. Hall is ~free. But yes.
CapSea - September 2, 2009
Oh yeah, I forgot the Brewers paid for him.
Mariner John - September 2, 2009
Abso-fucking-lutely not because that's a retarded idea
seattlebruin - September 3, 2009
You know Lopez is as good as gone right?
Sec 108 - September 3, 2009
If Felix wins his remaining starts...
and the M’s are leading in the final game of the year after 4.2IP, would Wak bring in Felix to get him his 20th win like the M’s did so Johnson could win 20 in 97?
basebliman - September 2, 2009
That would certainly help his Cy Young chances.
Fin - September 2, 2009
And then get to hear it demonized when someone gets a "legit 20"
Like Moyer did a few years later. I hope not.
Aly Edge - September 3, 2009
I'd laugh my ass off if this team
goes something like 22-6 in the remaining games and backs into the playoffs.
Craig341 - September 2, 2009
How would going 22-6 to finish be backing into the playoffs?
Craig Powers - September 2, 2009
It would be more of a full on sprint
gregrabble - September 2, 2009
Well, that whole thing
Was just swell.
section331 - September 2, 2009
Nice tight game and a win again
Red Sox lose but the BJs did too much sucking again for the Rangers.
Sam Regens - September 2, 2009
Hahahaha Torii Hunter got eviscerated by Felix!
Struck out looking without getting the bat off his shoulder, struck out with bases loaded two-outs, grounded out to end the sixth, and popped out to end the eight. Yays.
Decatur - September 2, 2009
Sweet!
Sam Regens - September 2, 2009
Then kissed his ass during post game interviews
Rudy4three - September 3, 2009
2 out of 3, suck us off Angles!!!!
Yoyogi - September 2, 2009
Are you sure you're at the right website?
Eyebrows - September 2, 2009
As much as oral stimulation by geometric shapes sounds like an interesting topic, I will fully snark out and correct your spelling. It's the Angels.
royalcurve - September 2, 2009
Dang it, why do you have to be the responsible one.
I was moments away from perfecting a joke about right triangles. No kidding, this one was really going to work too.
Kermit. - September 2, 2009
Equilateral? Isosceles? Scalene?
msb - September 2, 2009
Nope just a right one, 90 degrees and all. Easy to remember that way.
Kermit. - September 2, 2009
DAMMIT
royalcurve - September 2, 2009
I'm so obtuse :(
royalcurve - September 2, 2009
That's not true.
I’ve heard a lot of people say they think you’re acute.
Eyebrows - September 2, 2009
Ok, that was some low-hanging fruit right there.
I will now channel Jeff: WHAT PART OF ON TOPIC DON’T YOU UNDERSTAND!?
Eyebrows - September 2, 2009
SQUEAK! Sorry, Jeff.
royalcurve - September 2, 2009
I like these two comments.
.Taylor - September 4, 2009
You probably could have worked "hypotenuse" in there.
It could sound dirty if you used it right.
Eyebrows - September 2, 2009
Apparently there was no defense played in the Mariners/Angels game.
Kazmir struck out Mariners batters in the 1st, Felix struck out a random Angel in the later innings, Bill Hall got a hit, and the ball took a funny bounce at third so that Hall could score.
Oh, wait. Erick Aybar jumping, and making the DP was a webgem.
That’s it.
msb - September 2, 2009
Not even a mention of Bill Hall throwing from his arse?
For shame.
Eyeball Kid - September 3, 2009
It would be hilarious if we could win 10 in a row here
