Griffey is so fucking sexy.
By the way, Morrow

74% strikes on his fastball
7 swinging strikes out of 19 sliders

And you missed it!
I saw an actual one-hitter
It was scintillating
The boxscore makes it look borign
Griffey's on your internetz, stealin your thunders
I hope this Morrow is the one that shows up to Spring Training next year

Odds this is just a Oakland induced fluke?

His pitches were working well without the help of Oakland.

I did notice, however, there were a few pitches that were crushed when left up in the zone, but they were hit by batters with names like Carson, Patterson, and Pennington. So some of Morrow’s success can be left to Oakland’s lineup. The eighth inning almost-implosion showed signs of usual Morrow, but it was late in the game and he was likely tiring a little.

It was a great outing that would have done well against any lineup. He worked fast, had his pitches moving in the zone, and didn’t get wild.

NFL QBs were hitting against us last night?
Heisman Palmer

clap clap clapity clap

Griffey and Sweeney for 2010!
As bench coaches!
2009 Closing Day drinking game: Take a shot for every fan sign saying "Ken Again in 2010"
my insurance deductible doesn't cover stomach pumping or rehab

that’d be a lot of drinkin’.

Between Morrow and Snell, next year should be fun.

Any given day is either a one-hitter or a 7-runner.

Wow if only we had our offense from 1996 as well
They would be old now
We have part of it still!
SELL! SELL! SELL HIGH! SELL!
Awesome game to be at. Maybe there's some hope for this Morrow guy after all?
Oh I hope so.

He’s great to watch when he’s on.

Hope?

You are so mean, Dave.

I'm going to hold on to mine.

It’s all I have :(

Over 500.!!
It could be .500

If we lose it all, which I hate to see, we will end up having .500

Nope.

If the M’s lose out they’ll be 82-80.

For those who were there or watched it,

Any observations about why Morrow did so well yesterday compared to the crappy Morrow we’ve been seeing a lot of? Is it just a matter of mysterious ability to not miss all the time, or what? I was just listening on the radio to parts of the game.

His splitter was obscene and he was hitting the glove a lot
And he was facing the A's.
He had great command. His slider was fantastic too.
I can't be the only one whose only joy regarding Morrow's outting comes from the hope that ending his season on such a high note will boost his perceived value among other clubs.

I will put money down that when opening day 2010 comes, Brandon Morrow will not be part of this organization.

To me that doesn't sound like a very safe bet
