When I was covering Nats games for some random DC blog in aught-seven,
Colome was ostensibly having a pretty good year in the bullpen. “Jesus Saves” became a bit of a thing. Looking back, his numbers weren’t actually that good, but it left enough good will in my mind that I wanted him to do well here.
Yeah, luckily I waited to vote until I got home from work.
I started the day with no strong feelings one way or the other, but keeping Colome and sending down Shawn Kelley pushed me firmly into the hate camp. The Mariner’s roster construction is driving me crazy this year.
Having not heard of him before he joined the M's
And with him only appearing in three games, it’s difficult to remember he plays on the team.
