I don't understand how Adam Moore was the biggest contribution in this game
I thought Kotchman deserves more percentage. Just saying
Ef the yankees - April 9, 2010
Kotchman also GIDP'd.
ThundaPC - April 9, 2010
I'm pretty sure Jeff doesn't just pull these out of thin air.
Changing the score from 6-1 to 6-2 in the 8th doesn’t do a whole lot to the chances of winning.
Johnny Slick - April 9, 2010
That's true.
Ef the yankees - April 9, 2010
I MAKE ALL OF THE NUMBERS UP
I AM VERY DETAILED
Jeff Sullivan - April 9, 2010
It would've been more convincing if you'd said +1.7.
Jeff Nye - April 9, 2010
Should've reported error
JLC - April 9, 2010
I knew it.

Moore's walk loaded the bases with one out
Kotchman’s homer was an A-Rod special.
Jeff Sullivan - April 9, 2010
He slapped the ball out of the first baseman's hand?
How did the first baseman even get the ball in the first place?
Johnny Slick - April 9, 2010
I've always thought this but never heard anyone say it.
CapSea - April 10, 2010
There should be more names under buggest suckfest
Maybe it should just say “Mariners”

Stupid phone, stop thinking you know what I’m thinking…
mariseanerhawk - April 9, 2010 via mobile
Actually that suckfest did bug me.
MT Olson - April 9, 2010
It's still really early. It's only been 5 games.
We have to get better and we will. I’m not counting us out yet.
TrustBaseball - April 9, 2010
Can't get much worse...
mariseanerhawk - April 9, 2010 via mobile
Oh, it can get worse - remember 2008.
There’s a good chance it will not go there this year.
TrustBaseball - April 9, 2010
Sorry, meant to be a reply to mariseanerhawk.
TrustBaseball - April 9, 2010
Atleast we had 2 wins at the same point
mariseanerhawk - April 9, 2010 via mobile
Yes, because starting the season 2-3 instead of 1-4 is very significant.
Johnny Slick - April 9, 2010
I don't think 2008's team started out with an offense this terribad.
Which is why I’m not losing my shit. It just feels like the whole team is slumping at the same time.
And slumps end…
The Typical Idiot Fan - April 10, 2010
Ah, April ball
Been disappointing thus far, but lets wait at least a month for the pitchforks
blueside714 - April 9, 2010

We're all like children stuck at the bottom of a well
Lassie is Cliff Lee, Erik Bedard is Tommy. Salvation awaits us my friends.
OceanBird - April 9, 2010
How old are you?
</actually watched the show in reruns>
harkening - April 9, 2010
Crappy analogy alert...
The season is about 3% complete. That’s about the same as one half of an NFL game, air a quarter and a half of a college football game. It’s early.
Having said that, there have been some
bavasi era-esque games so far.
speedomike - April 9, 2010 via mobile

speedomike - April 9, 2010 via mobile
I'm just hoping the see the needs and faults of the team...
LIKE OFFENSE.
mariseanerhawk - April 9, 2010 via mobile
