Josh Wilson!
SeaKoala - May 11, 2010
Saunders and Wilson are going to be our Stockton/Malone
Saunders has the talent I guess, but Wilson went through some awesome portal on his way to Seattle.
OceanBird - May 11, 2010
More like their Stockton and Hornacek/Ostertag.
Dudes are very white.
SethGrandpa - May 11, 2010
It's all about Ryan Langerhans.
Eyeball Kid - May 11, 2010
Ichiro with the .500/.600/.750 line on the day gets a negative WPA, how about that.
lailaihei - May 11, 2010
Saunders as well.
Slurvey - May 11, 2010
And I think it's fitting for our team that on a day that we score five runs, the opposition contributed more than our lineup.
lailaihei - May 11, 2010
Mariners 2-0 .292 with 3 HR, 9 RBI since firing their hitting coach
Alexander Calloway - May 11, 2010
It's happening again!
Jeff Sullivan - May 11, 2010
I'm glad to see Josh hasn't outgrown his lowercase status.
Eyeball Kid - May 11, 2010
Ryan Langerhans looks like he just looked at Josh Wilson
Jeff Sullivan - May 11, 2010
That deserves its own post.
SeaKoala - May 11, 2010
The way that picture of Josh is, the hat looks like an extension of his eyebrows.
lailaihei - May 11, 2010
I believe he's wearing his hat backwards in that picture.
LonelyintheBleachers - May 11, 2010
After studying the picture closely, I believe you're wrong.
The giveaway for me is that the logo is on the front of his hat, and in this picture is facing towards the camera.
BigR - May 11, 2010
I do feel like Eyebrows should change his pic to that one.
Eyeball Kid - May 11, 2010
He looks like he stole his eyebrows from the Grinch.
Gihyou - May 11, 2010
Saunders does too
Corco - May 11, 2010
Mariner's beisbol.
Punkhazard - May 11, 2010

Allen Wu - May 11, 2010
Feels good, man.
Fearless Frog - May 11, 2010
Random thought - These three guys were forced to use the new weight training regime
Possible success?
Scruffy Lefty - May 11, 2010
Fuck yeah! Get that horizontal force working!
Rudy4three - May 11, 2010
Aww poor Guti.
Still love you Gutz.
the other side - May 11, 2010
The 13-19 chart, is that what you'd white power?
Janic - May 11, 2010
*call
Janic - May 11, 2010
Blue Jays baseball!
JAH - May 11, 2010
As our favorite beat writer would call it, White Jays Baseball!
joof - May 11, 2010
Griffey's run from 2nd on RJ's single is one of the highlights of the season thus far.
Big Jared - May 11, 2010
.gif it!
Oh wait, that would take up too much bandwidth
d0nkey - May 11, 2010
Two wins in a row?
WITCHCRAFT!
JAH - May 11, 2010
I, too, believe that there is some evil force at work here.
Punkhazard - May 11, 2010
Whatever that evil force is, I'll worship it!
Allen Wu - May 11, 2010
Let's hope that Saunders doing well will force Bradley to DH when he gets back
Allen Wu - May 11, 2010
When did Saunders get so sexy?
Mariner Melee - May 11, 2010
I'm calling him right now. Anyone got a problem with this? I thought so.
BRKLN M'S - May 11, 2010
Bitch he's mine!
Mariner Melee - May 11, 2010
I think Jeff may already have him
BRKLN M'S - May 11, 2010
False
Mine.
kentroyals5 - May 11, 2010
Wow. Fair enough.
BRKLN M'S - May 11, 2010
Aaron Boone just called Yuni one of teh best SS in baseball
and the Royals fined yuni for dropping a popup
Marinerfanjake - May 11, 2010
WUT
BRKLN M'S - May 11, 2010
"the Royals fined yuni for dropping a popup"
Really? Hilarious!
Mariner Melee - May 11, 2010
This confirms my theory
that most new (and some not so new) TV “analysts” get so nervous on air that they’ll literally say anything.
tait644 - May 11, 2010
His coaches don't think so....
http://www.lookoutlanding.com/2009/8/2/973378/54-51-a-few-game-notes
Big Jared - May 11, 2010
Aw, that sucks
I always liked Aaron Boone. I’ve always imagined him as a “Bobby Kennedy” type, with a famous family and a popular, successful, cocky older brother. And Aaron’s in the background, just being a nice guy and quietly impressing everybody.
Yes, I just compared Bret Boone to JFK.
Though I suppose it shouldn’t matter. But I always loved Eric Karros, and after hearing him as an announcer, all I think when I hear about him is “goddamn I better mute the TV he’s gonna say something stupid again”
Karma Police - May 11, 2010
Ryan with a Langerhansoloshotfirst?
Or is that way too much….
The Typical Idiot Fan - May 11, 2010
Haha, did you make that up?
Pretty clever actually
Karma Police - May 11, 2010
I don't know if anyone's said this yet
But doesn’t Langerhans look just like Peter Sarsgaard?
amanalone11 - May 11, 2010
Depends.
Does Langerhans always play creepy characters in all of his movies?
E-Lizz - May 11, 2010
I'm pretty sure
that you are first with the Sarsgaard comparison
lokiforever - May 11, 2010
It was a good win but
if not for the “new guys”, Langerhans, Wilson, and Saunders, it could have been one of those nights where the M’s could give no suppor to good starting pitching again.
Ichiro did his job and had a double, and got on base 3 times out of 5, but he had no runs scored thanks to Figgins (except his sole add-on hit in the 9th), fucking Lopez, etc. the “regular” guys.
Without hose new guys and Rob Johnson having an anomaly, it could have been one of those zero nights again. If Kotchman and Jack Wilson just have to come back, they better find a way to rest Figgins and Lopie instead of getting rid of one of the new guys (Langerhans, Wilson, and Saunders).
Sam Regens - May 11, 2010
Sorry about the missing "t" here and there, keyboard's tired.
Sam Regens - May 11, 2010
League with the shutdown!
So glad I get to use that stat in the first game I look at after reading about it. Really hope it catches on.
Robert Lintott - May 11, 2010
Hey a win! I like this feeling.
