Still struggling to find a new team to follow
The Padres seem a little “meh.”
tait644 - May 23, 2010
It's all about the Giants.
West Coast, roster built around sweet pitching, nice stadium, lack of douchebag bandwagon fans. They’ve been my NL team for years.
Rachmaninoff - May 23, 2010
Doesn't sound like your weekend went well.
ThundaPC - May 23, 2010
false.

Agreed.
Edgar for Pres - May 23, 2010
Completely agree.
TheBishop - May 23, 2010
Reds
Griffin Cooper - May 23, 2010
I have no compelling reason but I feel myself rooting for the reds as well.
I also have started cheering for the Twins because I know a lot of Twins fans, which is a weird reason. It also helps that they’re fun to watch. Maybe I’m just a bandwagoner?

What about the Rays? :(
Decatur - May 24, 2010
Fuck the Rays

Gawd.

If Tui has your biggest contribution, you can just automatically assume that your team got blown the fuck out.
What a shit game.
wyte_lightning - May 23, 2010
Hooray for the old blue and orange Padres logo
lemonverbena - May 23, 2010
Because this logo sucks my balls
lemonverbena - May 23, 2010
At least you have someone

Alas, my #1 team is the Mariners
and my NL team is a distant second in my broken heart.
lemonverbena - May 23, 2010
Mine too
I decided to follow the Nationals a couple of years ago. This is a much more fun year for Nats fans…and Strasburg hasn’t even pitched in the bigs yet. But it’s still M’s first and foremost for me. And it’s killing me.

They play in camo uniforms sometimes, heh.

Every home Sunday
America!
lemonverbena - May 23, 2010
When does this misery end?
Following the M’s this season, I am starting to feel like I am getting kicked in the groin day after day after day.
Henry H - May 23, 2010
Our opponents are apparently very crotch-focussed
short - May 23, 2010
"focused"

I missed the game today, only saw 3 innings yesterday.
I’m not sure if I’m committing myself to withdrawal or not, but I guess I’ve lost hope that they’ll “turn things around.” Griffey got the one pinch hit so I guess he’ll be here the whole season, and Sweeney had this spurt so likewise. Meanwhile Saunders is on the bench.

A thought:
Perhaps when filling out the roster and/or lineup we should consider “trying”.
TheBishop - May 23, 2010
Don Wakamatsu "Manager"
PDXTai - May 24, 2010
Just watched the game (Felix, anyway)
Holy balls that was a terrible lineup.
