Though it’d be interesting to see the results of this poll if it had been done during spring training. I think the majority of votes would be love/like, instead of like/uninterested.
Now that I think about it, its more of a dislike. It’s not really rational, but I’m trolling or anything. He’s looked like a pretty horrible catcher so far, and he seems totally lost at the plate. He’s no spring chicken either, he’ll be 26 here in a couple of days. The “He isn’t Rob Johnson” thing doesn’t really fly with me: I’ve got plenty of hate to go around.
I think I’m mostly just sick of this organization falling in love with catchers who suck. (I understand that evidence of Moore’s talent exists, I’m just not holding my breath that he ever becomes anything close to league average.)
Like Adam Moore if only because he's not Rob Johnson.
harkening - May 5, 2010
I like that he's not Rob Johnson
MT Olson - May 5, 2010
I like him but not as much as Buck
Dewey N - May 5, 2010
I hope Moore does something to make me like him over Johnson soon.
ThundaPC - May 5, 2010
He isn't RJ
Yup I like him because he isn’t RJ, then again if they put an empty laundry basket behind the plate I would like that more that RJ as well
Damien O'Donovan - May 5, 2010
Adam Moore is Rob Johnson without the walks
So no, I do not like him
niceguysfinishlast - May 5, 2010
He's a young catcher doing his first run in the majors.
Give him time.
Thingray - May 5, 2010
Alternatively, Rob Johnson is Adam Morre without the caught baseballs.
Eyeball Kid - May 5, 2010
*Moore.
My typing has really gone to shit lately.
Eyeball Kid - May 5, 2010
Basically Adam Moore is a catcher, RJ thinks he is.
the other side - May 5, 2010
RJ is an outfielder wearing catching gear.
JY - May 5, 2010
Moore seems to have plenty of problems catching baseballs himself.
And he’s the same age of Rob Johnson so……yea. At least Johnson can draw a BB
niceguysfinishlast - May 6, 2010
Rob Johnson he is not, therefore I like.
russak - May 5, 2010
I like him...
Though it’d be interesting to see the results of this poll if it had been done during spring training. I think the majority of votes would be love/like, instead of like/uninterested.
David Sarmento - May 5, 2010
I'm still high on him.
It’s only been a month, and honestly he hasn’t looked that horrible at the plate.
He’s not producing, but his swing still looks good.
BigR - May 5, 2010
This reminds me of Jerry Seinfeld talking about the luge.
" ‘Oh, look how he points his toes. What a tremendous athlete.’ "
dlukas - May 5, 2010
Oh come on who the fuck hates Adam Moore
Griffin Cooper - May 5, 2010
The same person that hates Felix and Cliff?
David Sarmento - May 5, 2010
Who is it that sits there and looks for polls to fuck with?
Are those the same people that giggle at a your mom joke?
the other side - May 5, 2010
Well, I could certainly imagine fans of other teams hating Felix and Cliff, because they're ridiculously good
But Adam Moore?
Griffin Cooper - May 5, 2010
And yeah I know these polls are not intended to be voted on by fans of other teams, but I'm sure it happens
Griffin Cooper - May 5, 2010
That's a good call on Felix and Cliff.
Maybe it was RJ.
David Sarmento - May 5, 2010
Fogel.
Eyeball Kid - May 5, 2010
No I voted that I liked him
Dewey N - May 5, 2010
My bad.
Eyeball Kid - May 5, 2010
He has been pretty awful so far this season.
MFAN - May 5, 2010
We are 26 games into the season. That is not a valid reason to hate him.
Griffin Cooper - May 5, 2010
I agree, but honestly there isn't a reason to hate any one of these players. Moore hasn't helped the team yet, so i think it's somewhat justifiable.
MFAN - May 5, 2010
Found him!

RunningFool - May 5, 2010
That guy's awesome!
Griffin Cooper - May 5, 2010
Yeah I don't know how I feel about publicizing how other people vote
People are entitled to their opinions and we don’t need to discuss them in a public setting.
Jeff Sullivan - May 5, 2010
On the other hand, he's also clearly trolling.
JY - May 5, 2010
A few trolls mean nothing given 1000-2000 votes
Jeff Sullivan - May 5, 2010
Right.
What I was getting at was more along the lines of “he’s trying to get a reaction, so don’t respond to him”.
JY - May 5, 2010
He hates RRS and Milton too.
What a fucker.
I Lick Squirrels - May 5, 2010
I voted hate.

Manzanillos Cup - May 5, 2010
Dislike until he does something to earn 'like'
Kenny Knows Sports - May 5, 2010
Not Rob Johnson
So I don’t hate him. But I sure dislike what I’ve seen so far, on offense and defense. And special teams. Sure.
dlukas - May 5, 2010
I'm not really enjoying him very much at all.
