I'm sorry... I just cannot take it right now. This team is too boring, too frustrating. There's too much talent going to waste and it looks listless, leadershipless. It looks like exactly the opposite of 2009 and if there needed to be another argument against the ability of predict team chemistry, this would be it.
Still, I feel bad about leaving you readers out in the cold, so I decided to at least let you in on Jeff and I's game recap document template. Simply fill in the blanks ad-lib style and then throw in a joke or two and you too can bask in the glow of writing recaps after these insulting excuses for baseball games.
Jeff may be along later for the usual chart and recap treatment.

I didn't expect the team to win today, so I didn't suffer when they lost.
The worst thing is that I’m finding it hard to pick out any individual players to root for or look forward to their ABs. Most of the starting pitchers I just feel sorry for.
I watched Tacoma the other day and there’s nobody there on the way who can hit. Is there anyone at AA who might help? Is that out of the question?
Jack Z has taken chances on two head-cases (Snell and Bradley); neither has worked out. Is the next gambit trading Cliff Lee in late July?

My question is. When do you decide that it isn’t worth the price in future talent to fix this team. At what point does it make sense to scrap the season and call it a building year.

There is talent
It just may not be apparent. Ackley finally went yard, Pineda dismantled a good lineup (Thanks, JY), and we have quite a few good prospects in the lower levels. Doesn’t mean there’s immediate help, but if you want something to pay attention to, watch AA and lower.
