Jack Wilson looks like the kind of person who should probably always be wearing a helmet, and really, any helmet will do. But with that said, this is just embarrassing.
Alternatively, it's possible the Mariners stuck Wilson with a AAA batting helmet because he's a AAA hitter. And that's the sort of thing I can get behind. You wear the corresponding helmet of the level in which you belong.
It's time to stop treating these players like equals of one another. Baseball isn't a communist game. Let's get rid of the communist rules.

Everyone gets one. Oh, except you Rob. Not you.

The first thing I noticed was the lady in the background aghast at the sigh of Wilson's ass

A common ailment at Mariners game, no doubt
But this is Jack Wilson we’re talking about.

It's funny because Everett Memorial is better for left-handers too.

Why not teams as well?
At about this point in the season, take the 3 or 4 worst teams in MLB and switch them for the best 3 or 4 in AAA. They also have to switch salaries. Gives some incentive to perform at both levels prior to that time. Underperforming would have consequences.
Managers and coaches as well, along with the 3 or 4 umpires with the worst ball/strike caling according to the tracer.

Sounds like that sequel to Major League that was so bad that Charlie Sheen refused to do it.

I wish Ichiro actually wore that helmet up to bat.
