I do not think JLC is shocked like you think he is.
It’s more that Eric Byrnes, generally acknowledged to be a huge goofball, perhaps a little distant, has the clarity of vision to say that we need instant replay. Also, he used the word “asinine”, apparently. This is something to get worked up about. A professional player, recently out of the game, who cannot fathom to the implicit stupidity of Major League Baseball as a governing federation.
