Have you noticed them? If you haven't noticed them, go notice them. Here's Washington DC's, for example. Here's Chicago's. They're pretty cool, and they have the potential to get a lot cooler, and they represent a big step in SBN's expansion as a company.
I'm mainly bringing this up for two reasons:
1) There'll be a Seattle regional launching on June 30th
2) To celebrate the launch on June 30th, there'll be a big party. Here are the details of said party:
Wednesday, June 30th, 5-8 PM
Rock Bottom Brewery
1333 Fifth Avenue, Seattle, WA 98101
§ Happy Hour Specials for all RSVP’s
§ $5 apps
§ $3.50 beers, wine, liquor.
· Contact: Derek – seattle@rockbottom.com
· 206-623-3070
· http://www.rockbottom.com/
If you're interested in getting some food/drink deals and hanging out with other Seattle sports fans from the various Seattle-area blogs, you should RSVP. If your interest is conditional on my attendance, then, I mean, I'm flattered, but, wow, I barely know you. (Because it's a Wednesday, and because Seattle's a long drive, I haven't decided if I'm going to go, but I can be swayed.)
If you don't live in/near Seattle but still want to party - and I know that the people who hang out around here love their parties - there are corresponding parties for all the coming regional launches, and I'll post the details below, with terrible formatting to make you work hard. Eyes need exercise. You never take them for granted.

Has only one major pro sports team.
Two if you count MLS.
PDXTai - June 9, 2010
Considering the state of Seattle sports, I can't think of a better place to host it than a location known as Rock Bottom.

I'm a bit confused by these regional SBN sites.
Are they just collecting feeds from all of the area blogs or will there be content that’s only on the regional blog?
If I want to read about the mariners, do come here or go to the regional blog?
Will they cover minor league teams like Tacoma?
So confused.
PDXTai - June 9, 2010
There will be original content, and I do not anticipate minor league coverage
I don’t believe they’re intended for a hardcore audience like the one we have here. They’re for casual fans.
Jeff Sullivan - June 9, 2010
I'm sure whoever is heading it up is a bloviating tool with an objectionable odor.

Ahem
No selling out here!
