Its amazing how much different I feel about this lineup with Branyan in it.
Kenneth Arthur - July 1, 2010
I missed the game.
Looks like we almost won though!
Marinerfanjake - July 1, 2010
Had a chance to, then Aardsma shit the bed.
sanford_and_son - July 1, 2010
Which he is prone to do.
sanford_and_son - July 1, 2010
We should trade him.
M'sFanatic - July 1, 2010
Should have*
He’s been a train wreck to his own trade value.
Kenneth Arthur - July 1, 2010
Also missed the game...
Can anyone talk about how RRS looked?
Joe Metro - July 1, 2010
He was the second highest contributer.
At +5.2%
Floyd Gondoli - July 1, 2010
He did okay keeping the ball down?
I guess I should wait for MLB to post the condensed game.
Joe Metro - July 1, 2010
I didn't check the game thread, but was anyone bothered by Aardsma pitching in that spot?
Seems like with the heart of the order due up there, he wasn’t exactly a good matchup vs NY with his flyball tendencies.
Why did we not use League for a couple innings there, and avoid using Aardsma until absolutely necessary?
Rudy4three - July 1, 2010
I don't understand why people don't get the answer to these questions yet.
abender20 - July 1, 2010
Mental retardation? Belief System?
Indifference?
sanford_and_son - July 1, 2010
I think I'm guilty of all three.
MT Olson - July 1, 2010
Better than Sean White i guess.
Marinerfanjake - July 1, 2010
Reply fail
Marinerfanjake - July 1, 2010
Okay, we need an Aardsma cockpunch graphic STAT
Did wonders for JJ’s career…has anyone created one up to this point?
I’m working on it, but am pretty terrible at graphics. May just end up pasting DA’s head on the existing JJ cockpunch pic.
appleshampoo - July 1, 2010
Yeah, I'm too busy to come up with anything better
appleshampoo - July 1, 2010
He's got 3 hands!
MT Olson - July 1, 2010
Alien Aardsma!
M'sFanatic - July 1, 2010
Who is the puncher?
Matt Erickson - July 1, 2010
CC is a stud
I mean the guy can just pitch. he will be 30 in a few weeks, and is at 146 wins and 2000 IP. I think he will keep pitching for another 7-10 years and easily pass 3500 IP and 250 wins, especially if he stays in the Bronx
Rickfansince76 - July 1, 2010
I'm pretty sure the diabetes or heart disease will set in well before then.
Slurvey - July 1, 2010
Or his arm falls off.
tait644 - July 1, 2010
Aw, Hyphen.
@ So close to getting the sweep, tough game. Still won the series! Do the same in detroit and we’re back on track!
msb - July 1, 2010
I love him.
Mariner John - July 2, 2010
Hypen is getting better every start
just in time to be demoted to the bullpen to make room for Bedard, but hey, Ill take a posetive
E2ESQUARE - July 1, 2010
There's a spot in the rotation opening soon.
abender20 - July 1, 2010
Shut up.
joey90 - July 1, 2010
Yeah cause we're trading Fister for Pujols.
I Lick Squirrels - July 1, 2010
That trade wouldn't be fair for us. Cards need to give us more.
M'sFanatic - July 1, 2010
I think they would only accept the trade if it was Fister and Snell for Pujols.
joey90 - July 1, 2010
Is this still funny to people?
Griffin Cooper - July 1, 2010
It's funny because they wouldn't actually do this trade!!!!
Get it!!!
the other side - July 1, 2010
NOW I UNDERSTAND THE HUMOR!
PLEASE PEOPLE POST THIS MORE
Griffin Cooper - July 1, 2010
Hey I'm charging next time bitch.
the other side - July 1, 2010
That'd be a big ol' hell no
pdb - July 1, 2010
This joke isn't funny. It wasn't funny the first eleven billion times it was told either.
Aaron Campeau - July 1, 2010
Aw man :(
Griffin Cooper - July 1, 2010
OK.
Who rec’d this? Time for a manhunt.
Hopefulmsfan - July 1, 2010
Impressive series!
ThundaPC - July 1, 2010
I was surprised that RRS only gave up 2 runs to the Yankee$
I’m actually kind of pleased with RRS today, because he pitched better than he has the entire season minus that one win he has. I am disappointed in Aardsman. Should’ve kept Sweeney just in case it went into extra innings, so Aardsma would be available
level - July 1, 2010
So he could have given up a home run to A-Rod in extra innings?
Matt Erickson - July 1, 2010
Boy, changing the S in things to a dollar sign never ceases to be funny.
Mariner John - July 2, 2010
You mean like Keh, dollar sign, Hah?
