The Mariners have 76 games left to play this season, including tonight's Felix start. According to tRA, Cliff Lee in his time with the Mariners racked up 27 runs above average of value. That is mightily incredible especially given the missed month of April.
So far this season, Felix Hernandez is at a little under 17 runs above average of value. Projecting that out to cover the rest of the season would put Felix on a 32 run pace. That of course assumes that Felix pitches both as well as he has (he might pitch better, he might pitch worse) and as much as he has (he might get shut down, he might shoulder more load). That 32 runs would just clear Cliff Lee's 2.5-month contribution to the Mariners.
Will Felix do it?

Felix because he is pitching much better now than at the start of the season, so a straight projection might not be the best way to do it

The poll just gave me a middle finger.
