A Series Of Pictures In Which Josh Wilson Looks Awkward And Out Of Place

There was a time when I didn't know what I thought about SBN importing AP photos for blog use. That Jeff didn't understand the advantages he'd been given.

Based on pretty much every Josh Wilson picture in my photoset, he looks like a guy who is perpetually playing the first professional baseball game of his life.

Major League Baseball!
Yes, Josh, Kevin Cash knows where second base is located.
What is Ichiro doing in that last picture?

Is that a high-three?

He does this all the time in the post game little league pre-pizza-feed GOODGAME line

it’s basically a peace-sign high five, sometimes he touches the other hand and sometimes he doesn’t.

I wonder if he knows something about the other guys personal hygiene habits
Spirit fingers?
They are teaching him the shocker
I was at Yankees Stadium in 2007

Watched a game where Wilson hit a ball to left field that Hideki Matsui just missed. Josh Wilson hit a triple. Made my day.

Non-Josh picture fun

choo choo choo

Does he grip the ball weird when he throws?

I always use something like a split finger grip with two fingers on the top of the ball and my thumb under but it looks like he throws the ball with his whole hand.

I find it easier to throw with a 3 or 4 finger grip when making quick turns.
Your Mariners starting shortstop
Did you ever do this with the Kotchface?

I went through the Miscellaneous archives and had trouble finding it. Or thinking of a situation where Kotchman didn’t seem terrified.

It happen in a subthread.
My new favorite!

Its really to easy.

Man there is great material in here.
The best part is how you two kinda look alike!
I need to grow a beard.
There was one I'd like to see .gif-ed

There was one game where he was at the plate and there was a runner on first that was straying. The pitch was inside, which scared him enough to spin out of hte way, but then the catcher threw behind him to try to pick off the runner, so it was “AH!…. (spin) AHHHH!”

I don’t remember what game it was aside from I made the gamethread at USSM.

That makes it trickier.

It’s not in the FSN HD post

Not yet, and I suspect Scruffy is going to ruin any plans of ever doing it
Awwwwww....

And think of how much more material we've accumulated since then!
Again, I say, this man looks like Zangief more than any real human I've ever seen.
Just do it before I can ruin it.
Alternatively, learn restraint
I didn't post my favorite one.
The one where he's in front of Ichiro just looks photoshopped.
So does the Griffey one.

I almost expected to see Nyjer Morgan at some point.

I think the one just before the Superman pose is the best

It looks like each and every part of his entire body decided to go a different direction all at the same time.

White people high-fiving is the best.

There should be a website devoted to that. Along the lines of Tosh.0’s “Asians Doing Christopher Walken Impressions”.
