He looks exactly like a superhero flying in to save the day.

I want 6 more wins.

Or 5 wins and a rainout

I want a 13 game losing streak
I know 100 is a meaningless number because it’s no better or worse than 99, but dammit, if this team is going to be futile it should believe big. Or small, whichever.

I'm rooting for sub-500 RS.

That's how I feel. If we are going to be bad, we might as well be the best at it

Exactly.
Like Blowers always says when he mentions how he tied the record for most errors in a game at third base (I think it was 4 or 5 or something like that). He always says now that, had he known at the time, he would have intentionally booted a ball, just so he could have the record all to himself.
If your house is burning down, might as well throw a neighborhood barbecue.

Make sure you have fire insurance first.

It's really sad that these are the only things we have to root for.
The season has been so bad, we all just want to see it be as bad as possible.

I have no evidence to back it up, but I feel like 100 loss seasons are probably markedly worse for future attendance than 99 loss season.
People also will react more violently to a 100 loss season, which might put the front office on the defensive. I don’t want either of those to happen for organizational health.
