Cirillo’s kids and wife were huge Mariner fans (she was from Seattle) and a post you had a while ago, someone mentioned a quote in the news where his kids had told him: “daddy, we love you, but you are hurting the Mariners and we wish you played for another team.”
Anyways, so given this, perhaps this is all a ploy to make it up to his family by sabotaging the Angels through bad scouting… ;-)
